Beware - I had the misfortune today of making a human error in the spelling of my partner’s daughter’s hyphenated surname! I spoke to a really unpleasant man (Elden) who had no heart to help and willingly charged me £110! To correct their error on the tickets. Furious as they blame the third party air line……. I rang easy jet straight away, who were more than happy to change it, free of charge and were totally understandable about the situation which happens all the time!! Beware this company have no means to help you and do not want to help you. This 5 min call to Easy Jet saved me £110… where Disney would not compensate or help me at all, they could have easily made this call on my behalf but no they will not do anything to help, just take more money and give you a script on why they cannot help. I pleaded and got very angry as it felt like a scam! The guy had the audacity to say have a magical day at the end of our conversation!!! I’m dreading if anything else goes wrong as this company have no customer service skills whatsoever!! It’s Christmas, it’s been a tough year, show some compassion, big companies like Disney should allow their staff to help customers and not just fobbed them off.
We booked our trip to Disneyland Paris through WDTC with an easy jet flight as part of our booking. Our flight unfortunately got delayed by 12 hours. WDTC could not do enough for us. They rang us to inform us of the delay within 10 minutes of opening and told us if we needed further assistant not to hesitate to call back. Unfortunately we lost the first day of our holiday and WDTC offered us a refund of over £200. We didn’t once complain as the delay was nothing to do with them. I would book again in a heartbeat customer as service was second to none every time we dealt with someone, from amending our holiday to the delay.
Happy with the disney experience overall but after paying extra for a lake view room all we could see from our window was the hotel. No response to complaint 3 weeks later which is clearly false advertising compared to the photos shown on the website.
I would give it O if I could! This was the worst experience ever! I booked a package through this company… I paid 4300 for 4 night hotel room ( standard room) and 2 day park pass for four guests. I asked hotel for a receipt and contacted this company… I am curious about the cost of the hotel. In addition, My work requires a hotel receipt to reimburse me. I have called multiple people. Nobody will give me a receipt. So now I don’t get the money reimbursed by my work. In addition, I need to pay 4600 on August 7 for my 11 year old daughter to have surgery… Thanks to Disneyland… my daughter may not be able to have surgery… In addition, It is a surgery that needs to be done this summer otherwise we may miss our chance for correction. Thank you Disneyland for this awful experience!
Magical experience from start to finish. I booked my trip to WDW online and have had to reschedule twice due to covid. Customer service is always incredible. Every cast member I speak to always goes above and beyond during the calls. Wait times have always been 0-30 minutes. I have never waited too long. The cast member I spoke to yesterday even gave me tips & tricks for my trip, recommendations and also the date when I can book dining reservations. I cannot remember her name but I did leave a survey for her at the end of the call. I will always book through Disney direct.
I was a bit shock when I saw the reviews As my experience was outstanding I got a package to Paris hotel train and park tickets , at sequoia hotel with swimming pool It was perfect My advise is to give them time to update your tickets to the Disney app You won’t be able to do it until few days before you travel , also you don’t need the code on the app if you get the hotel , they will give it to you the called Magic pass at the hotel once you check in !
Booked our trip to WDW through the Walt Disney Travel Company to take advantage of the cashback offer that is being peddled on multiple cashback sites. This claim was tracked and pending for 13 months and they have now rejected it but are not able to give a reason! It is clearly a SCAM to get people to book through them.
I will never book through WDTC again, the main reason we did this time was to book travel as a package however it is a much better service going directly to the park's website (DLP) and booking separately. I have had to call a few times to ask questions or add/modify my booking and the call wait is always over an hour. I am currently on hold writing this and it's been 1hr 22mins so far.Disney holidays shouldn't be this stressful to organise.
