I tried to book via Blue Light website…

I tried to book via Blue Light website and was transferred to WDTC website to book and get a discount. At some stage I was transferred to a third party website unknown to me and I booked the holiday. On trying to claim the discount I was informed that I could not as I had not booked through WDTC. I complained to customer services twice and to trading standards for misleading information. Customer services offer a standard response and hardly read my second email or addresses the issues I raised. I am guessing this must happen a lot. It’s a big company that simply doesn’t care. It doesn’t act in the spirit of Disney and probably will cary on with this underhand practice. This has completely put me off going at all.

Horrible to deal with

Horrible to deal with, I had to cut our honeymoon short due to a family bereavement and didn’t offer to refund or offer us credit or anything, we lost 5 days at Caribbean beach resort, just said on the phone ‘if they don’t offer you anything at the front desk when checking out, we can’t do anything for you’, honestly avoid at all cost!

I am more than disappointed with the way the Disney Travel Company treats its customers. We booked our Walt Disney World trip more than a year in advance and had to cancel it after a short time. Unfortunately, you get charged a cancellation fee of $65 per person, which is more than outrageous when you consider how early you cancel. It is a mystery to me that a large company like the Disney Travel Company needs to rip off its customers so much and just shows how much glamour and Disney charm has been lost by this company. You could take Disneyland Paris as an example here, which offers a Zen guarantee up to 7 days before arrival that includes no cancellation fees. I am more than disappointed that the Disney Travel Company needs to rip off its customers like this when the parks in the USA are mostly sold out.

just had the worse experience with a booking provider we are going to Disney land paris via Le shuttle next Friday to Monday. we wanted to travel the day before and stay in pairs for the night and was told no you cant do that even if you book separate transport for the day before your booking will be cancelled and you i lose your money. it say on the website flexible amendments up to 7 days before and there was no flexibility. when i asked if i extended my booking for an extra day they tried to charge me £870 more than the actually Disney land paris website. everything was NO No no i wouldnt reccomend them at all and wish i had read there reviews before booking as it tells a real story

Never book a package holiday with this…

Never book a package holiday with this company. We are travelling to Disney by Eurostar with our family. 2 separate bookings. Tried to link bookings together got told it only links hotel not Eurostar. Received tickets for Eurostar a week ago. 3 weeks before travelling to find we are all on separate coaches for Eurostar. Rang Disney and totally unhelpful. Basically said tough luck we can’t control what seats you are on. Paid in total £8k between us and you can’t seat us together. Great start to a holiday that my grandkids were super excited for. You have spoilt it before we have even began. Moral of story. Never book Eurostar with Disney as they have no control on seating and have very little empathy when you call. Great work Disney 👎

No assigned seating on flights

I haven't even travelled with them yet but am already feeling disappointed. I foolishly bought the full package including flights, Disney hotel and tickets though them.Travelling 2 adults, 2 kids (8&5) to Orlando on 11th May 2024, direct flights with AerLingus. They don't book assigned seats on the plane. It isn't mentioned in their terms and conditions that this is the case. I booked in October 2023 and paid all balances by Jan 2024. If I had booked directly with Aer Lingus I could have selected my seats myself but because I used this useless third party I have to worry about my small children not being sat beside me on the plane on the way back. They also don't provide the age of the travellers so Aer Lingus have no clue in advance there is children on the booking.Aer Lingus do not allow third party bookings to reserve seats on their online system but I managed to call them and book seats on the way out. This wasn't possible for the return journey as the seats at our fare level were already reserved a month in advance. So we are faced with an extra 180euro surcharge if we want to book seats together for the return journey. So we have a so called "child friendly" provider that does not endeavour to put the comfort and safety of children to the forefront.I'm not filled with confidence for the rest of the trip is this is the quality of customer service at this stage. The customer service agent I spoke too just repeated her same lines saying she was sorry I was disappointed etc but refused to do anything to remedy the situation. She says its posted in their FAQs on their website? I just read them and they have a general cop out statement to say they have nothing to do with flights... so why sell them?!?This information needs to be posted CLEARLY at the booking point so customers can make the informed decision not to use this travel agency for flights.DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTs WITH THEM!!

Due to a major family issue we needed to cancel a short Disney Cruise. Although Disney Cruise clearly advertised full refund Disney travel would not honour this. Furthermore they did not reply to 6 emails when I sent the cancellation as I was told to by email. I rang Disney Cruises and they even confirmed on the phone that if Disney Travel liaised with them we had plant of time to get the refund. The other members in our family group did get a refund. We a pensioners and because our younger family members we not able to travel it was not suitable for us to go on the cruise

Great service

Really good company to book with; any issues that arose were dealt with quickly and with great customer service. Our one complaint would be that the booking facility for meal plans only gave the character restaurant and likely cost us more.We cannot fault their customer care at all. I would and have recommended this company to family

train tickets not included contrary to what disney tell you.

I recently booked a 2 night 3 day trip with WDTC to disneyland paris for me and my son, all went well up until i get to st pancreas and they tell me that there is an issue with my train tickets, after about 45 mins they could only print my eurostar ticket to lille beacuse they cant see my other tickets or whatever that means, told me to vist the SNCF offfice in lille to get my next set printed, whom proceeded to tell me that my booking doesnt exsist, a booking that WDTC assures me that is booked and included in the hefty price i payed for the trip. me and my 11 year old son had to stand between carriages for the entire journey and when asked for tickets i explained the situation to which he checked his system and explains that my booking does not exsist, i then had top pay for new one way tickets which cost 195 euros. Thats 390 euros extra to get back to london after disney tells me the tickets are inculded. absolute disgusting from disney will never book with them again.

Not intrested.

Had a few issues when we were in disneyland paris in December 23 and whilst there was advised to contact walt disney travel upon our return by the hotel maangment staff.Well after going backwards and forwards with emails this company seemed really concerned about the issues we had that they gave us a massive £33 return on a £2000 plus holiday. Whilst they agree there was issues they felt our concerns didn't spoil our holiday. Guess they no how we feel more than us. When we again went back to them in regards to this refund a kind gentleman on behalf of this company said "We kindly advise you that we are now unable to provide further comment in respect of this matter". Customer service seems none existence.
