My wife and I popped into the cafe today for coffee and cake. They ask £4.50 for a slice of cake yet half of the tables were dirty and hadn't been cleared (even though it wasn't busy), the carpet /laminate flooring is gaffer taped down so you don't fall over it! How about you invest some of the huge profits into the cafe environment?! Not good at all.

Visited the store at Braehead for the Paw-perfect experience on Saturday 14 February 2026 which was prebooked.
A total shambles, the sniff experience for the dog was a non event as all the tins of treats were empty.
There was only one member of staff who was totally inexperienced resulting in the photographs being terrible.
In addition the queue of people waiting was unmanaged.
To be fair he should have had assistance.
A very disappointing experience and not worth the £15 paid.
I did contact customer service who were not in the least helpful or sympathetic.
I stopped by a local place on my way home from a recent trip and decided to try the special deal for seniors. I enjoyed fish, chips, and peas, followed by an incredible lemon cake. Wow! What a tasty meal! The fish was amazing, perfectly hand-battered with a crispy coating and tender white fish inside. The entire dining experience was fantastic from beginning to end. I will definitely return, and at just £12, I could treat myself every week if I wanted!
We had an incredible experience today, all thanks to a team member from the fish aquarium section. I was visiting with a client I support as a care assistant, and this individual made a remarkable impact on our day. They were exceptionally friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, clearly showing how much they enjoy their job. My client initiated a conversation, and the team member graciously took the time to engage, making her feel completely comfortable. Later, while we were admiring the koi carp, they thoughtfully returned with some fish food so we could feed the fish, which was such a lovely touch. This team member truly went above and beyond, and it was evident that they genuinely enjoyed interacting with us. My client expressed that they made her day, and honestly, they made mine as well. It was heartwarming to witness someone who takes such pride in their role. They are an absolute asset to the company and truly deserve recognition, if not Employee of the Month. Thank you for your kindness and for making our visit so memorable!
The service was shockingly poor, resembling a disorganized performance by untrained staff. It felt like there was an unseen authority that didn't understand the needs of customers who invest their time and money at a subpar garden center. If you're looking for an engaging day, you'd be better off watching paint dry. I strongly advise against visiting!
The service at the cafe was unacceptable. We waited over 20 minutes without anyone taking our order, despite it not being busy. Others who arrived after us were served promptly. It was frustrating to see the staff chatting among themselves while we sat there waiting for our orders and drinks.
We had a reservation for a Santa experience with a scheduled time of 11:50. Arriving 10 minutes early, we were shocked to see around 50 people ahead of us in a queue that wrapped halfway around the store and barely moved. After waiting 15 minutes, we approached customer service and learned they were running behind due to delays with previous customers. We were told to simply wait, with no one monitoring the queue or providing updates on the situation. After over 30 minutes, we spoke to others at the front who had been waiting for more than an hour. The grotto had only opened at 10:30, so the reason for the long delay was unclear. We returned to customer service and were offered a refund, which we accepted but have not yet received. We left feeling disheartened, especially with a very upset 3-year-old. It's disappointing how poorly this was handled, and I advise future customers to be cautious.
