I called to arrange a service for my grandmother's stair lift, and the team I spoke with was incredibly accommodating and managed to schedule us in promptly. I will certainly recommend this service to others in the future.
I have been without access to my upstairs bedroom and bathroom for twelve days now, sleeping in my electric chair for 12 nights. Parts are apparently delayed, and I had to follow up every day for 10 days, including two Sundays. The last update indicated parts would arrive on 01/10/25 and the engineer would come on 02/10/25 at 9am. I was told I would be the first job, yet here I am at 12:20pm still "WAITING" for the engineer. This company has poor communication and does not prioritize their customers' well-being. Unfortunately, a local council pays this company to fix disabled equipment, but the service has been far from satisfactory. You expect support, not frustration, but they seem to lack understanding and accountability. The manager has been quite disrespectful.
What can I say about this service apart from THANK YOU SO MUCH! From the initial visit to the installation, it has been a wonderfully positive experience. I can't thank the team enough for their fast, efficient, and clean work. They were approachable, knowledgeable, and cheerful. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone needing a stairlift; their attitude and support are unmatched, and all my questions were promptly addressed.
My Mother purchased a bath lift a couple of years ago for over £2,000. The battery stopped working around 6 months ago, and now they want to charge an additional £398. Avoid this company; less than 18 months of use for over £2,000 is a complete scam. Look elsewhere.
I must say, all the engineers I met were fantastic. They are considerate and professional. The issue lies with the person who takes calls, who I just found out is the owner. He is rude and arrogant, and anything he arranges seems to run into issues. I feel sorry for his very skilled staff.
We've had our lift since 2022, arranged by the local council after my hospital stay. They were very professional. We faced a few issues as we were new to stairlifts, but when we called, they were very helpful. We have a yearly service, as my husband now relies on it more than I do. They provide excellent service, and we feel confident it will not fail us. My only concern is that it seems a bit slow, but otherwise, it is our lifeline.
