My fiance had his hair transplant procedure at Dr. Ulusan Clinic in Izmir in September 2025, and I cannot say enough positive things about that experience.
From the very first virtual pre-appointment, everything was extremely well organized and clearly explained. During that initial online consultation, we had lots of questions, and every single one was addressed thoroughly. Follow-up information was promptly sent afterward, which gave me even more confidence in moving forward.
When we arrived for the in-person consultation, I was immediately impressed. The office was welcoming and professional, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and focused on making sure we felt comfortable. It truly felt like we were in very capable hands.

I had my hair transplant at Dr Ulusan Clinic / Medicalhair 13 months ago.I chose here over Istanbul Clinics since they have a cap per patient per day which enables exclusive care of the Doctor and the team.Overall, from sales to post-op my experience has been very smooth. My patient coordinator was accessible almost 24/7 and very much knowledgable about whatever question I had.In total my operation took around 13 hours and I am very happy with the density and aesthetics achieved. People who didn't know me before the procedure can't even tell I had my hair transplanted. Thank you Dr Ulusan, thank you to your team and all the care!
I had a hair transplant in this place which led me to have a AV -fistula (Arteriovenous fistül) in my head. After pointing out a huge grown vein on my temple they claimed it was "normal" over the Whatsapp and said it will go away.However, my condition became more alarming and I ended up flying back to Izmir and the doctor barely took any time to look at my head and claimed she hasn't seen such a thing before and left me alone to deal with a ticking time bomb on my head. I was not referred to another doctor / expert. I was simply dismissed.This has lead to a significant delay in the treatment of my fistula. I waited for it to go away like I have been told.The Sibel Ulusan claims she is the best in the field, has done thousands of hair transplant surgeries, therefore, I wanted to believe her knowledge in the field.I was let down.When my condition got worse, I ended up having multiple doctor appointments back in my country and had to be hospitalized for cerebral angiography in my head 3 times until it has finally been healed.I lived in constant fear for two years, not knowing what would happen to me and if I would survive this life threatening situation.After I was finally healed thanks to the doctors of my country, I wrote the Medicalhair Clinic an e-mail complaining to them which has been ignored.However, when Cimer contacted them to solve the conflict they suddenly were all eager to "solve" things and told me different "reasons" about why this email hasn't been responded.For them solving the situation was making my complaint go away.In my opinion, they are not to be trusted because you are only a product to them. The moment you paid, signed the contract, and received your hair transplant they do not care for you anymore. I was left alone to find my condition and get it treated.Even in my serious life-threatening situation, they did not care one bit and did not provide proper care as I would expect from healthcare professionals.They promise post-treatment WhatsApp support, but they don't have the professional knowledge to know what really is wrong with you / they don't care about you.When you google about hair transplant in Izmir this is the first clinic you will find due to their investment in SEO and ads everywhere.I value my health more than the result I get from the hair transplant. But it was clear to me that they care more about the reputation and how the hair will look like in the end, and no matter what it will do to my body.During my procedure, the doctor admitted she should have stopped because I was bleeding so much — but continued to “finish the job" because no customer wants a hair transplant unfinished.If I knew there was a chance of fistula happening in this procedure I would have never gone under hair transplantation.If I were you and value my health, I would avoid this clinic. From my experience they seem to be negligent, dismissive, and prioritize money over lives.I greatly regret my decision of having my hair transplant in this place.I know this surgery looks like a cosmetic surgery, but it is a serious surgery and under the hands of unknowledgable and uncompassionate people in the field, it can lead to life threatening conditions.I write this comment to help others make better decisions.
First off, I gotta say I'm super happy with how things turned out. It's been almost 2 years since my procedure, and let me tell you, the results are amazing! Like everyone else, I had my doubts, especially living in the USA. But after seeing a couple of my buddies go through with it and seeing their awesome results, I had to give it a shot. And man, I'm so glad I did because it's seriously changed my life for the better! The staff is top-notch, the place is clean and up to par. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Dr. Sibel Ulusan.
I’ve got the hair transplant operation done at the Ulusan Clinic 14 months ago. I was going to Izmir/Turkey to attend a business fair and extended my stay to undergo the surgery. I virtually consulted 3 clinics in Izmir and finally went for an in-person meet-up with Dr. Ulusan. Hands down it was the most professional and sterile looking one in Izmir, similar to international private hospitals. I am very satisfied with the whole process and the end result. I was frankly not aware my hair could get this different, density-wise. The medical team seems to be very experienced and well-trained. Would highly recommend Ulusan Clinic for a doubt-free hair transplant journey. I believe this is the best end-state my head could have achieved with hair transplant.
Do t trust them. They gave me a terrible result and a scalp ring worm called tinea Capitis.I’m now losing hair and came in with a healthy scalp to fill in my hairline after a great Fut transplant at another clinic 4 years ago.Now I’m dealing with bald patches and an over harvested donor area.They largely manipulate their online presentation and used my pictures for a fake review I didn’t agree to.They manipulate the dates on their fake reciews( like they did with mine) on Facebook. They are scammers and can’t be trusted.I found several other buried reviews too late.They represent themselves as leaders, but nobody in Izmir even knew them when I was there. The taxis brought me to the wrong clinic although Izmir is small.Please be careful in Turkey. They largely misrepresent themselves and use good SEO teams now to fake all reviews and create an overinflated image.I deeply regret this experience
Bad experience.I came in to cover some scars from a mini lift and fill in my hair line. I had long and full blonde hair and never experienced hair Loss in my life.I was left with a damaged donor area of Telogen Effluvium which means the hair doesn’t grow back and is dormant.My doctor in Germany told me this is due to Inexperienced nurses.I also have a massive amount of shock loss which is much worse on my right side where A nurse who was 23 worked on me(I found out later about her age).I think the doctor set me up with her on purpose. Who would set up the least experienced nurse with a woman who has long blonde hair. They know that it will take forever to grow back and shock loss needs to be avoided at all cost.I don’t get my hairline refilled to lose half of my other hairs.The doctor barely checked up on me.Needless to say, the scars weren’t fully covered but it’s a very sloppy job and I will need to go to another clinic to deal with it. Those were very thin scars and not hard to cover.The worst part is all the hair that I’ve lost due to shock loss because they over injected anesthesia (they don’t even know that this is a bad idea) and I had to show them medical reports why that is not a good thing.There was a lot more which I will not mention here bc I want to move on.The doctor is a nasty woman imo and was looking for facelift scars all over my face 😂it was so odd. They were also all over my Instagram profile but not in a nice way. They even called me a hippie lol.Please avoid this woman at all cost.I’ve found a hidden review they oppressed about another person with a destroyed donor area.Telogen effluvium is a serious condition and not something to mess with. German doctors say that sometimes, the hair doesn’t grow back at all bc roots have been damaged. It will most definitely be less thick and I only had 1300 grafts taken out.They wanted to shave off the entire back of my head and I had to insist of only doing half. God bless I did because Imagine what this would have been for a woman with healthy thick blonde hair and now having to wait for up to a year dealing with this condition. Look up how telogen effluvium looks and prepare to be shocked. They never informed me that this was even possible but I believe this happens more often at this clinic.Total disaster, sloppy work and envious doctor who I believe harmed me on purpose bc I’m an attractive woman.Every intelligent person would make sure to not set up inexperienced nurses for a woman who has healthy long hair, because the shock loss can be so drastic.You can’t compare it to a male whose hair grows back in 3 months.I need a few years to grow all the hair back that I lost, and wait to up to a year until my donor area “awakens” from being dormant. Then I will know if I even have all my thick and healthy hair back or if they destroyed it
After a year since my operation, I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I now have a densely-packed front with a natural-looking hairline. I must highlight Dr. Sibel Ulusan's expertise, coupled with her exceptionally kind and experienced team. The doctor is really detail-oriented, and because of that, I trusted her and the outcome.
