I recently had a new garage constructed, but unfortunately, the contractor left the floor in extremely poor condition, it was unlevel and uneven in multiple areas. Website linked to wrong product which I subsequently purchased for the tiles I ordered. Have tried to contact them to see if the correct item could be obtained but they don't bother to reply.Delivery was quick although expensive, they also failed to pass on the delivery instructions to the carrier so it resulted in a failed delivery.Product was as described and would be up to the job.Overall decent product but not impressed by the sellers.
BUYER BEWARE IF YOU WANT TO USE THESE TILES WHERE THERE ARE DAMP/CONDENSATION CONDITIONS IN A GARAGE. I will remove this poor review if Duramat subsequently resolve the issue ot my satisfaction... if you are reading this it means I am still an extremely unhappy customer. Good initial experience that turned sour. I purchased Duratiles for my garage and they were indeed easy to fit. They are labelled as anti-slip in both dry and wet conditions. However, after immediate installation in December, any slight bit of cold/condensation due to cold weather and my tiles are extremely slippy, in that I have fallen myself, as well as my 76 year-old father-in-law (very luckily avoiding serious injury). Duramat were initially helpful and sent me grease cleaner in case there was a problem with the tiles, but this made no difference. I'm now left with £1000 of tiles that aren't fit for purpose... and we are having to pay £600 in additional matting to cover the tiles so they are no more dangerous slip injuries. Duramat don't appear prepared to offer any discount to compensate, or provide any refund - unhelpfully they claim no other customer has ever had an issue with slipping (which is absolutely not relevant to me when my tiles are clearly slippy!) Despite sharing videos of how slippery the tiles are, they have not responded to my latest enquiry on how they can solve the issue. Their last correspondence showing their 'slip test' report, but this is done on a single test in lab conditions, and so appears meaningless. Either I've been sent faulty tiles (which they aren't acknowledging) or their slip-test is inaccurate and misleading. BUYER BEWARE IF YOU WANT TO USE THESE TILES WHERE THERE ARE DAMP/CONDENSATION CONDITIONS IN A GARAGE.
I ordered some garage floor tiles and their estimate of size was pretty much perfect. I did mis-cut a couple so needed to an extra one which was delivered within a couple of daysThe tiles are good quality and easy to install - you will need a jigsaw and soft mallet thoughWould definitely recommend
