I spent quite some time searching for a specific size with storage options and a low headboard for my compact space, and their selections are just ideal. A big thank you to the representative for being so professional and guiding me through the process. I also enjoyed the ability to choose my own finish and color. Following my previous review of a faulty bedframe with many problems, the main one being a huge gap of up to 10cms between the slats. Mattress manufacturers recommend a gap of no more than 7cms as the mattress and springs will sag through it. Customer Service could not have been more unhelpful. Eventually after much distress and gasghting by the customer service agent who I am not allowed to menion - but others are. The manager offers to change the bedframe to remedy the massive gaps, the unsanded slats which grazed my hands and the unprotected slats on a space saver bed which caught on the sheets and ripped them. After being let down on the date of arrival at the last minute (the bed hadn't even started to been made) it arrives with even bigger gaps between the slats. The new mattress is totally collapsing in between these massive gaps of 11cms. The frame badly creaks and the paint is off-gassing terribly and two of us are requiring medication to deal with it, despite the windows being open day and night. I have been told by the unhelpful customer service team I must buy extra slats and disassemble the bed myself and then reassemble it with the new power drill I must also purchase. This is despite paying for assembly, which did not come cheap. I would have been more happy to have done this if it resulted in a bed which I could sleep in without a bad back and which did not damage my mattress and invalidate the guarantee. But I was not told this beforehand, despite the enormous gaps between the slats being the main issue and despite me pointing out the standard recommended gap between all manufacturers is 7cms and they knew they produce goods which are massively different at 11cms. No one has got back to me despite not being able to use the bed and me asking for a collection. I do not believe all these reviews as it has not been my experience at all. Substandard goods and zero customer service. Still no reply.
I ordered two beds from this company and the quality of bed is exceptional. They are so solid and sturdy. We constructed the beds ourselves with ease, although some of the instructions were a little confusing we worked them out. Simply constructed but very good quality, they look stunning and stylish in the rooms. The space saving bed replaced another standard bed with fabric headboard, but it really made a difference to the available space in the bedroom. We had a small issue with the slats but having liaised with Trisha Pantling, the Advanced Customer Service Administrator, our problem was quickly resolved. She went over and above to assist us and came up with a great solution, sending us alternative slats that would accommodate our existing mattress. We would definitely use this company again but don't think we will need to change our beds for a long time now due to their quality. Many thanks Trisha!
Bottom up front: Don't believe the negative reviews. The customer service that we received from Trisha, Alicia, and Tim was phenomenal. They answered all of our questions as soon as they received them. The DHL delivery was just as impressive. I'd receive an email message for every movement from the UK until it hit my porch in the US. Thanks also to the production team. The way that the bed was packaged made it surprisingly easy to transport the individual boxes from the garage to the upstairs bedroom of the house. The quality of the bed was excellent and the instructions were easy to follow. It only took us about an hour to completely assemble the bed. We are very satisfied with our low platform bed and would recommend Get Laid Beds to anyone in the market for a remarkable bed platform. I strongly recommend anyone to visit their website.
I already loved my bed and felt it was extremely solid, but the headboard didn't seem quite right. I sent a video of headboard movement and Tim was able to identify the issue and send me the screws I needed. Really wonderful customer service. They're kind, fast, and super reliable.
I ordered a standard Full XL bed for my son, and received it according to the date scheduled. The wood is pretty decent and quickly way to put all pieces together. The cons is about the bad finishing of some important parts with little damages, but still better than Ikea’s furnitures. Be awere regarding to the taxes and new trade polices, once Get Laid Bed is abroad of US.
