The delivery service has gone downhill my local stores delivery driver didn't use the back door to deliver when I asked him nicely to deliver there he then replied I can't we have gone bagless so I pointed at the sign on my front door saying that I have a disability. He still wouldn't go to the back door so he then drove off and returned to the store with my order. Which it shows on the tracking as a failed delivery which is very poor customer service and incompetent of him. He could have just gone round to the back door to deliver it seems like customer service needs improvements and more training as they don't seem to help people anymore especially the vulnerable people I have raised a complaint to head office regarding this store and the driver today
Disgraceful customer service. Do not order on line. Delivered my son’s order to someone else. If recipient is over 18 they don’t ask for proof of person being delivered to. And Iceland branches never, ever answer the phone.
Really wished I had read the reviews on Iceland before placing what will be both my first and last order.
I ordered 3 x 2L of Arla Cravendale Filtered Fresh Semi Skimmed Milk 2L Fresher for Longer. I received only TWO and although one had a 7th March best before date (note this is a very short date for this milk as it is supposed to stay fresh for 3 weeks and this had only a week left), it was surprisingly already off. I understand that because in addition to the Arla Cravendale 2L Filtered Fresh Semi Skimmed Milk, I ordered some Iceland semi-skimmed milk, the packer did not realise there should be 4 x 2L bottles in total, but this really should have been checked. They should have counted the number of items and realised that it was short. I know it is not a big deal; however, I am very disappointed that there were two issues with such a small order.
Having said that I feel very sorry for their poor customer service are so inundated with complaints as they clear some, their inbox is full with more. Hence the delays in getting back to you.
Just popped in to iceland warehouse in grimsby as i needed some vegetarian food. I couldnt see where the is was located so asked a member off staff who very politely said ‘ im sorry theres only one freezer, i hope you find what you are looking for’ (customer service by that male member of staff gets 5stars!) BUT the contents of it well! Theres not alot of choice in it. Quran (like chewing a rubber band!) linda mccartny NEVER liked her food! And well thats it. Ill shop elsewhere as other shops STOCK more than ‘rubber bands’ & bland, boring!!

Told to call store and report item couldn’t get through on the day tried a few times. Got them today told to phone customer service.
Called and waited 12 mins for women to come back on phone and tell me I can get a refund like she’s doing me a favour. No apology for inconvenience. Then she said next time this happens I need to call within 24 hours.
Her tone of voice & sarcastic attitude made me hang up. No the first time I’ve had crap service.
I ordered from their online delivery, my order never arrived, no notification, no courtesy call nothing. I waited most of the evening for it. Rang them in the morning and after 2 phone calls I was told my order had been cancelled just like that, no reason why or by whom. Absolutely disgusting from a large money making company. I could, for all they know, been an elderly person who couldn’t get out of the house and waiting for my dinner! Will never buy anything from Iceland again and will certainly not recommend their on line shopping.
I ordered shopping to be delivered 21/02/26 between 7-9pm being only time slot available. My driver SIMON from wood green iceland had turned up with one crate of shopping requesting me and my 12yr daughter to help him carry shopping up the stairs because he didnt wanna do 3 trips. I refused to help and told him I do home delivery for a reason and its what your paid to do so NO I will not be breaking my back to help you do your job. SIMON then took back the shopping he brought up the stairs and refused to bring the rest 😡 even though I told him I would report him. I called iceland spoke to a member if staff who was very apologetic and reassured me that I will get my stuff the following morning between 8-10am as they will make it a priority. That did not happen. Ive had to chase my shopping and being told different information so im not happy with this level of service. Its not acceptable.This is not the 1st time either.
Thieves. They robbed a fiver off me when I was in Rushden by not applying discounts they were advertising. So I get back to Bedford and realise, tell them, show them the receipt. Thats not enough, they want me to drive back to Rushden and take photos proving what discounts thsy advertised! I said keep the fiver I'm going on Trust Pilot. Avoid avoid avoid. Terrible customer service
Showed delivery as delivered when it was not, no contact from store or company.
I waited til the next day and then began calling customer service who were unhelpful and uncaring about the inconvenience of paying for food that never showed up. No explanation around the lack of communication about rescheduling a delivery slot, the website showed the food as delivered.
Hate the no bags on delivery now. Spent £100.00 on shopping and had to stand at my front door and pack it while my shopping and the deliver got soaking wet in the rain. If i want to pay for bags i should have that choice.
