I am father to a 10 year old who loves tech and especially Minecraft, hosting a server where he can apply custom mods and create with his friends. He knows way more than me, but sometimes we’ve run into issues understanding the service - and the Empower team has been great! Super responsive and clear in email and chat. Patient and helpful. It keeps us engaged and coming back because we can learn and expand with them (rather than getting frustrated and losing interest). Recommend!!!

I was with this host for a few years hosting a minecraft server for myself and many friends, spent thousands of hours together creating and building this world, then when things in life happen and get a bit quiet and we decide its time for a break, we miss 1 payment, and Empower servers simply deleted all of our data without keeping any backups, even though I personally created backups, and even paid an extra 4$ per month for them to keep daily backups. I tried liaising with the support team to come to a solution, they say theres absolutely no way to recover the data, and simply issued me with a refund of my last payment to essentially, shut me up and be done with me, even though they owe me much more, since the backups were never provided. Their business model consists of customer in, customer out. You'll pay your money, they'll do you dirty, and wont care about you leaving. They'll make no attempt in helping you or try to keep you and will happily see you go to another better provider. Save your money and years of building and creating a world, when you've decided you need a break from the game, for a provider that will hold on to your data until you're ready to come back to the game .
