I ordered four customized glasses as a wedding gift. I immediately emailed the company to request that all four glasses be wrapped in one box. After waiting nearly a day, I sent a reminder and received a response stating they didn't have a large enough box, so the glasses would be individually wrapped. The customer service representative showed little initiative, so I called to pay for additional gift wrapping and asked if the glasses could be packed in pairs. I was told yes. Although I was relieved that a nice gift was on the way, I later received an email stating the courier had picked up the items, but only one was wrapped and the other three were not. After my purchase, I checked the reviews of this company and regretted not doing so earlier—it's a mixed bag! I spent quite a bit, including shipping, and can only hope the pewter doesn’t come off due to the glue mess or that the recipient doesn’t wonder why the gift is half-wrapped. The customer service was utterly disappointing with no initiative. One question, one answer—there was no effort to be helpful. A frustrating first experience with the company, and certainly my last.
The item felt cheap. The pewter animals were attached with a blob of glue, which caused one to arrive detached from the glass. They offered a replacement, but it seemed quicker to reattach it myself. I had little faith that a replacement would be any better. I won't be purchasing again.
