I ordered a hip flask from them, but they refused any assistance because I purchased it elsewhere. The flask had two holes in the cap, the leather case was scratched, and the plastic funnel provided with the £90 flask was broken. For nearly 100 euros, you should expect a flawless product without holes, scratches, or broken accessories.
My wife bought me a glass with a skull design for my birthday, and I loved it. However, the skull and crossbones fell off shortly after I got it (after only handwashing). My wife contacted the company, but they seemed indifferent, merely suggesting I glue it back on. While that may be true, if they had ensured it was secured properly in the first place, I wouldn't have to handle it myself. The pewter ring at the bottom of the glass is also glued on with epoxy, and over the past year, it's become cloudy from exposure to water. Overall, it feels like shoddy workmanship, which is disappointing coming from a company that prides itself on quality. Additionally, their attitude towards customer care leaves much to be desired. My wife was quite taken aback by their response to her email, indicating that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them.
Absolutely abysmal service.Paid for a next day delivery and ordered a generic 1980 tumbler on the Monday morning as was promised delivery for a close friend's 40th birthday. ("as long as you order before 1pm" was the sales pitch). I debated getting it engraved but was wary of time frames so just kept to the generic option.Anyhow, on his birthday on the Wednesday I had no communication to say there would be a delay and after chasing the order for an update, was then informed UPS had missed the pick up on Tuesday and the product was now just sitting in the factory and would not be collected until Wednesday for a delivery on the Thursday, the day after his birthday.Disappointed and embarrassed is an understatement.Was refunded for the delivery (as expected), but offered nothing to come back to try them again for a better experience (but I did get a sorry!!!).Now that is what you call good customer service!!!Won't be using this company again.
Excellent service from English Pewter Company. I purchased 2 stags head whisky tumblers from them, one had a slight problem with it and they changed it out with no quibbles what so ever and free postage. Very professional and the product is excellent. They are also excellent value for money.
I Bought a hip flask with a stamped design on the front for a fathers day present it arrived promptly but was faulty as part of the pattern on the front was missing so I received a returns form and sent the faulty flask back and a few days later received a second faulty hip flask with the same issue! I again contacted the english pewter company who were apologetic and blamed it on a stamping issue and they were going to change the old stamp for a new one and this inturn meant I wouldn't have a fathers day gift in time for fathers day lucky I managed to get a hip flask from another company who sent it on a next day delivery at no extra cost. I sent the second flask back and waited for a 3rd one which I would now keep for myself and when it arrived, guess what, yes another faulty flask with parts of the design missing!! I did ask for a partial refund which I received straight away but the communication stopped with no further apologies. Dont waist your time ordering from The english pewter company they supply substandard products that dont reflect what they show/ advertise on the website and with zero quality control, very poor.
I bought a lovely Whiskey Glass from EPC in May 2019 for my son's 18 - by the time we were about to celebrate his 19th - the base had detached from the glass (we had looked after it as per care instructions).Contacted EPC and send them the photos. They offered to repair so we sent it may about a month ago.Contacted EPC this week as we had not heard anything back and they had not received the package. WITHOUT hesitation - they didn't send me on a wild goose chase around the post office (which I know are working hard right now) but IMMEDIATELY - no quibbles offered to send me a replacement.FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE - what more could you ask for.
I bought a whisky glass with a stags head in Fort William just over a month ago.the pewter ring came off within two weeks of getting it home and last night the stags head emblem fell of. We were very careful in washing it never letting it soak in hot water and drying it carefully. I think after paying £30 for it the quality should be much better
