Disgusting company run by a fat money grabbing person, Mike Ashleigh. Don't waste your money, find a proper gym where the PT's care, the staff are pleasant and you know you are not being fleeced. Hope the Chiswick gym loses membership and money.
The air conditioning is not functioning properly and leaks water from the ceiling. The padding on the resistance machines is tearing. Staff at reception are variable; some greet you while others seem distracted by their phones. The changing rooms could be cleaner. However, the swimming pool and steam room are decent, and the overall atmosphere is more pleasant than at other similar places. It serves its purpose, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it.
The recent upgrades have greatly enhanced this gym experience. I had visited a few times prior to the renovations and didn’t feel motivated to train there. After giving it another chance, I’m really pleased I did! The equipment is top-notch (though a few additional pieces wouldn’t hurt), and the vibe and music are fantastic; I often skip headphones since the atmosphere really energizes me, especially with the low lighting, which I adore. So far, it hasn’t felt overcrowded, maybe I’ve just been fortunate. The staff are all very friendly and incredibly helpful. The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is simply due to the absence of some extra equipment and the lack of heat rooms. While I understand there may not be much that can be done about this now, having a sauna, steam room, or plunge pool would definitely make this gym more appealing compared to others. I can’t complain too much, though; my membership is £27 a month with a discount that also gives me 10% off merchandise and refreshments. It’s great that there’s a snack bar/coffee shop and free parking as well. Overall, it’s been a very positive experience, and I’ve been a satisfied member for almost a year now.
This gym was once fantastic, but since the renovation in December, it has become quite a hassle. The atmosphere is unpleasant, and the quality of the clientele has significantly declined. Many regulars are departing, and the staff's response to concerns is disappointing.
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service.
Today, I attempted to contact the service over 20 times to inquire about swimming lessons for my child. Most of my calls were actively rejected. On the rare occasions I got through, as soon as I began to ask a question, they hung up on me.
No explanation. No apology. Just disconnecting a potential customer.
I also sent an email and, predictably, received no response whatsoever.
This is not how a professional business operates. If you cannot handle basic inquiries or treat people with fundamental respect, you should seriously reconsider engaging with the public. Parents rely on swimming centers for their children’s safety — and this level of communication is entirely unacceptable.
I would strongly recommend others to think carefully before engaging with a center that ignores, rejects, and disconnects calls rather than assisting customers.
Ewell gym has potential but currently is undergoing refurbishment, so I hope it returns in better condition. However, the swimming pool has always been in poor shape. There were bits of hair and debris around the pool for weeks, indicating a lack of cleaning. Additionally, several tiles were missing from the pool floor. If the pool remains, please ensure it is cleaned daily.
Today marked my second day at the gym, and I must say, it's an excellent place! I was a bit anxious as a newcomer, but I soon realized there was no need to be. A big thank you to the personal trainer who guided me through my introduction. The atmosphere is welcoming, and even some of the more experienced members have offered helpful tips when I seemed uncertain. I also connected with a couple of friendly individuals around my age who were very encouraging. Additionally, I've been enjoying swimming, which suits me well since I prefer shallow water. The reception staff is always ready to assist. Just a tip for newcomers: don't forget to bring a padlock for the locker!

The steam room has been in very bad shape for the last few months. It often appears unclean, and there’s a strong, unpleasant odor. I would appreciate it if you could implement a more thorough and regular cleaning schedule, as using the space has become quite uncomfortable. Thank you.
As a current member, I visited on Monday and found the place overcrowded, making it hard to access anything. Classes are consistently fully booked, and the changing rooms were in a terrible state, with wet tissues scattered on the floors and benches and overflowing urinals. I've decided to hand in my notice to leave.
