Recently purchased annual travel insurance from Explorer Travel insurance. This included cruise cover for my wife and I.The online process was very easy to navigate and the additional advice around the new EU travel cards was really helpful.Regular updates from Ian have been really useful.We have travelled extensively around the globe and it has been refreshing to find a travel insurance company that caters for our needs in a clear and concise manner. I chose Explorer Travel Insurance because of its competitive quote - being over 75, travel insurance has become much more expensive for me. Luckily, I haven't had to claim so far, so I can't comment on that side of things. However, I have been impressed by the number of communications and newsletters, with lots of useful general information and advice. It makes me feel connected, and it's good to know the people I might be dealing with. I would be happy to use this company again. I have put today's date for the experience, but I actually started this annual policy last winter (it hasn't run out yet)
As my husband has considerable health issues we have had to shop around for travel insurance and some companies have ridiculous prices.
