An annual travel policy at a very good price, particularly as I am in my mid 70's. Delighted to find Ian's company, as quoted prices by other on line companies were very excessive in comparison. Useful travel tips provided on a regular basis are a handy extra. All in all completely satisfied and will continue to renew with Explorer travel for future years.
I've used Explorer for 5 years now and usually buy annual insurance for myself and my husband for European travel. They are very competetive for cover for pre-existing conditions. Having used several travel insurance companies since we became too old for our banking app to cover us!! I was glad to find Explorer, it is more than an insurance policy, there are useful tips to aid the traveller and frankly it feels like a friend travelling with you. I have now bought two annual policies from Explorer Travel insurance, I have a few medical issues and Ian has provided a reasonable quote each time. Thankfully I’ve never had to claim, but I’m sure his service would be just as professional as his daily emails are.
We have recently taken out our second annual travel policy with Explorer Travel Insurance. It is very comprehensive and takes into account my health issues. It was competitively priced compared to other big companies. Thankfully we have not required to make a claim. The owner sends regular travel updates and advice which is very useful.
This is the most approachable travel insurer we have found. They are always there for you and don’t mind answering any questions you may have. Their website is easy to navigate which is a plus for older travellers. Whats more can we say, they are good value and you get what it says on the tin!
