I found their site very easy to use and the rates were competitive against other companies. Once decided it was very easy to complete and the documents came through immediately. It’s not easy finding cruise insurance for a couple approaching their eighties and we will definitely use them again when it’s time to renew our annual policy.
It was my mother that put me onto Explorer Travel Insurance and I will 100% be using them again. It was dead simple to fill out the details online and I have been very impressed with Ian's communication (he types all his own emails - not a bot...!). Just got back from our 2-week holiday and all ran smoothly - but appreciated being reminded about emergency numbers before departing.Excellent company!
Ian was so helpful on the phone discussing Policy options for travel to Australia and was interested in finding best Policy for a pensioner on fixed income.He also has good sense of humour, but appropriate for discussing what happened if you did not survive the trip ! Easy to take out insurance, good price, but best of all they settled a claim in full with no quibbles. My wife hurt her wrist while abroad near the start of a month-long trip to SA. A physio visit and quick x-ray showed a fracture that might set badly if not operated on very soon. Within 4 days we got claim approval and the surgeon was able to fit a volar plate and supportive dressing so we could continue to enjoy our trip without pain or worry. The wrist healed perfectly. On our next trip I booked with Explorer again.

I have been using Explorer Travel for my insurance for a number of years now, I think I have had the majority of the policies, cruise, European and worldwide, single trip, couples and annual insurance policies. I have medical issues and although I have completed the application on line I have spoken with a member of the team just to ensure I have completed it correctly. The team are always cheerful and helpful. I have never had any issues and the documents ready for download. Would highly recommend for your travel insurance.
