Just horrible. Firstly, I did a trial and then cancelled, which required stating a reason. As I don't like this practice I put some blatant lie - that the user deceased. Surprise, in a few days I got charged for the annual subscription. Didn't matter as I decided to keep it but it just says a lot already. Might be an error or might be a shady practice. Secondly, the first race in this forced sale was terrible - just as others have written - stream pauses and "buffers", however, it is a bug as simply refreshing immediately continues the stream, all at FHD without dropping. Definitely not user's connection issue. Well I emailed them that watching the race with refreshing every minute is not worth my payment and asked for a reasonable one month extension as a compensation and received a generic email saying they had issues and wished me to enjoy next GP. No thanks, will demand a full refund and watch on some illegal stream where the quality is superior. Lastly, I understand that Sky commentators are British and are full of bias towards their LH, Russel, and so on. Every race we need to hear "fantastic job from the British driver" over and over while they remind us every race this is LH's 99 pole, xxxx race win, and so on - we get it, just add one every race. However, on a service sold worldwide this ceases to be ok. I don't think they should do their own commenting as their studio is pure amateurism at its best but they should tell Sky to cut this down as the rest of the world does not give a **** about nationalities of the drivers.
I am unable to watch the races live, as I experience excessive buffering, but as soon as TSN have completed their live broadcast I can watch it without zero interruptions. It's now obvious that our Canadian ISP's are giving internet bandwidth priority to TSN during the live broadcast.
It's abysmal. You pay a premium to get a very bad service; they've just added casting from their app now, it's 2021... And when it needs to buffer it hangs, and you have to quit the casting and restart everything (including the app).Watching in a browser contsantly skips and often hangs where you have to refresh the page. I'm talking at least once every 5 minutes.Their "engineers" tell you to stay away from any Chromium browser, Firefox and Safari. So 99+% of browser usage.Having said that, I've treid Opera and others just for F1, no browser works seamlessly. Same issues.They're simply on a powertrip because of their monopoly. Absolute disgrace.Watch illegal streams, because **** them.
I live in Chile, on fiber optics. Everything works perfectly when it comes to streaming, except for F1TV. Repetitive freezes force me to refresh the page 8-20 times in a race. I find myself watching the race while holding the mouse all along. Not an enjoyable experience.
Took my money and never received my subscription. After hours wasted with support they told me that it wasn't possible but wouldn't issue a refund. The App is also badly made and incredibly buggy. Terrible, if there was a 0 star rating then I would have given it. 1 star is too much
Where to start???I live in France, subscribe to F1TV Pro, but only get recorded highlightson my chrome browser, no live action. When I try to watch live, I get a message asking me to subscribe!The web coverage is incompatible with LG smart TVs, one of the best selling brands, with arguably the best picture quality going.F1TV also seems to be incompatible with a number of common browsers.Streaming is not new, and it is simply not good enough in 2021 to charge a subscription for a streaming service which frankly, does not work.
Year after year, race after race: Crappy video quality (if any video at all!). Picture keeps freezing every couple of seconds. Only chance to keep interruptions low is to reduce video quality to 640x360.They obviously do not care about their customers' experience and rely solely on their monopoly in order to keep subscribers.(I don't have any problems viewing other video services lilke Netflix/youtube/Amazon in HD)Absolutely frustrating
Just came on here to see if I was the only disappointed 'customer', apparently not LOL On the first race of the season, Bahrain, I kept trying to watch the race live on the app, and kept getting the error message that I need to subscribe. Two weeks prior to the race, I did subscribe. However, apparently I wasted my money on 'access' which allows a live timing grid listing access, which you actually get for FREE!!! They have actually mastered the business practice of taking FREE water and selling it in bottles, just brilliant!Honestly folks, the app is called, "F1 TV" - the clue is in the name, you sell the ethos of providing F1 TV, which you don't! The whole thing is a scam - not since BBC dropped F1 have I felt so disappointed in a company. Save your money folks, give it to charity instead, you'll feel better...
F1 tv sucks big time. I am paying for pro and do not have access to driver cams and radio when I want. The icon is there for driver cams but you can not access it. They are just lying to you until you pay and then give you what they want. Do not recommend this program.
