Within a few weeks of taking a subscription in 2021, I found myself not using it so I cancelled the renewal for 2022.14 March 2022, my credit card was charged for the renewal. I contacted F1TV via its message service on the same day requesting a refund.After a further 5-6 contact attempts in the next two weeks I finally got a conversation going via chat. Apparently no problem - refund on its way.The cancellation email was for less than what I paid so I I initiated a second chat - what a Nightmare!The initial response was:1 - my earlier chat never happened,2 - the missing sum must have been a charge from the bank that is included in the advertised subscription price so it's refund has to negotiated with the bankIt got worse but, in a nutshell, customers are not believed over what 'the computer says'. For suggesting the system was missing some important pieces of information, It was plain that the person at the other end regarded me as a liarThey refused even give me the chance to forward a copy of the messages accepting the original cancellation in 2021.Call handling staff have no customer care skills, no empathy and, as a customer, you are clearly regarded as the enemy.
I signed up to watch the quali live in bahrein. All i got was a red sreen . I contacted support , put in my name , Marcel , somebody came on after sometime and called me Marcella ?! I immediatly cancelled my free 7 day subscription , but it still said 'you subscription will be valid till march 2023 . Have to contact my bank now to stop the payment . DO NOT TAKE A SUBSCRIPTION AT F1TVPRO !!!
Bought Formula1 TV last year and it is an absolute con. In the UK, SKY has bullied its way into banning any live TV coverage of Formula 1 in the UK without buying their entire sports package, so all you get with F1 TV is the background feeds. Yet it still costs the same as overseas users who do get live TV. Nothing in the power-selling ads tells you this until after you have paid. Do not touch this company with a barge-pole.
Wow it sure takes a while.I got my problem fixed after two tries and having to take contact again although I was promised they would contact me.First try took 40 min. before she told me she would get back to me. Second try has taken 40 min. for him to give me a discount code for 22 euro because their website was not working, when I was trying to purchase the annual Pro subscription. Damn...The ironic thing is that if I would have worked at my job for the same time I would have made more money than I did on writing to them and getting the discount.Oh well.. I did in the end get the discount.
I am sorry to say this and I wish it had not come to this but I am shocked at the customer service and incompetence of F1TV and the people working there. Firstly, the coupon was provided without any expiry date for a compensation of the Belgian GP fiasco. Secondly, being a coupon for a year of subscription, I do not understand the need to have a credit card for the subscription as it is free and I do not need to pay anything for it. Then, even with a credit card, you only accept the card of the country and not other cards which are accepted by all other service providers in retail and online including Netflix, prime and so on. Then when I try to use it, the code says it has expired when I have never used it and you take more than 2 weeks to come back on the code by which I have travelled to another place. Finally you come back and say there is an expiry code which is in the next 2 weeks when I am not going to be back in the country to use it and will be back only in a month or 2 based on the Covid scenario. This is absolutely shocking and ridiculous to say the least and now I think I see why no one wants to subscribe to this and the voucher being given is a form of advertisement for your website to try to get consumers, but let me tell you, with this type of service no one will ever pay for such a service which it looks like is living in the age old times of not accepting international cards and so on. When companies like airlines and so on give you time to use any voucher for more than a year, this is ridiculous. This is the most inept and amateurish organisation that I have had to deal with, considering this is just a small task of redeeming a coupon. I dread to think what other customers are going through. I will never recommend this service. I think people higher up need to understand what is happening and what needs to be changed and hopefully some action.
I ratley watch F1 but after viewing the final race of 2021 I feel it is corrupt and may never watch again.When Verstappen overtook Hamilton on first lap he knew in Hamilton didnt go off track they would collide ( both being out of the race and that would give Verstappen the title, this is the scenario on final lap, should they crash. Then to allow a tyre change under safety car and allow a certain amount of back markers through is totally changing the rules to favour another driver.The only fair outcomes is to share the F1Championship.Very disappointed in F1.
