Sell the rights to Netflix and get out of streaming, you suck at it...Updated: fewer buffering issues last 4 races, but problem still presents, upgraded 1 to 3 starsConstant buffering problems for first 4 races, and they always blame the customer--me (regardless of what device I am on, or where I am located--even on a fast fiber connection to my gaming machine, they say "it is at your end".)Pathetic and arrogant customer service--offered me a one dollar refund
Its incredible that in 2021 an app like F1 TV has all the streaming problems it has, i have Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Disney+ all of them in HD and i have no streaming problems at all, With F1TV i have all the issues and posible problems related with streamimg in the world, its absolutely and extremely dissapointing.
Stuttering and buffering issues since the beginning of the season.I decided to wait at least until after the end of the Monaco GP to give some time for the issues to clear out. I understand that more people accessing means more strain on the servers, so I gave it some time to solve the issues. When I reported the problem after that I was told that I didn't have the problem, that I couldn't get a 1 month refund because they had solved that issue previously and could only refund the customers that had reported it before.So I am being punished because I was patient.I was told to troubleshoot when I already had the issue with two different PC's, two different connections, on two different countries (Netherlands and Portugal), 3 different browsers (Chrome, Edge and firefox), cleared caches, tried with incognito and with and without a VPN.Once again I was told that the issue was mine (ridiculous).After loosing my calm and explaining that I felt disrespected as a customer, they finally gave me a... coupon... that I can't use. I use PayPal as a payment through the Play Store on Android. That's the only payment method I can get at this moment. I explained this over and over again until I am just dismissed with a "sorry, it is what it is".I have worked in Customer Service and Tech Support for years, have been an agent and a Quality Coach. I would set myself on fire before I dismissed a customer like this.I will test it once more to see if it is indeed fixed. I will use two different PC's and the app on a high-end cellphone. If it fails again I will end the subscription. It's gotten to the point where I think the agents are just dismissing me because they're sick of hearing me. too bad I'm just a paying costumer.If anyone from F1TV sees this, here's my ticket number: Case ID: 00233491 [ ref:_00D4JDZC5._5004JQMC5v:ref ]I am tired of this.
Terrible streaming quality, would not recommend!Hard to believe in this world of streaming video that F1TV cannot figure out how to properly stream. There is no buffer so it skips every few seconds every time we try to watch a race. We have several other streaming services that we never have an issue with. I wish F1TV would contract out there streaming to any one of them ie Netflix, Hulu, etc.
F1TV Access app is a misnomer, there is no access to any live racing. So, I upgraded to the PRO account. Paid for it, but now I can’t watch anything. Their customer service keeps asking for receipts, my age, screen shots, you name it. They finally admitted that I have sent them everything that they requested. And I deleted and reloaded the app many times under their direction. But, NOW THE APP WON’T WORK AT ALL!! And customer service has no idea what to do.
The app is simply bad, no way around it, no excuses. The service is broken. It’s definitely not worth the money and aggravation. The app does not full screen cast properly from airplay to full screen on television. The app does not properly behave for video on demand IE doesn’t properly save where you left off watching. F1TV does not honor early season discount voucher when their e-commerce site is not functioning correctly. I’d love to watch F1, but not like this.
