I don't want to cook!
I chose Factor because I want a quality meal with high nutritional standards and great taste. I want variety and am endeavoring to try different flavors to expand my palate in food tastes and flavors. I'm entering week three, and so far the potatoes are the one thing that are getting most of the negativity in my reviews.
After 3 months, I enjoy the convenience, the consistent high quality of food and the reliability of service. The menu is varied and having a somewhat fussy palette, it gives me sufficient choice to meet my demands. I would like to see a greater variety of vegetables and preparation. Would prefer to have all sauces provided in separate containers.
I was excited to try factor meals and spent about 45 min on the computer getting my plan all set up. Ewing just one person, I chose 3 meals per week. However, I noticed it required I choose six meals per week. Confused, I called the company to find out why I was getting six meals when my order plan was for three meals. She told me their minimum was four meals per week. I told her it clearly had a box on the website for three meals per week. I ended up canceling my subscription and wasting a lot of my time. Factor uses false advertising and bait and switch. Buyer beware
I cancelled due to the menu containing too many foods that I cannot consume nor digest. However, the only cancelation option was for subscriptions, nothing about the current order. Therefore, in canceling my subscription, I assumed that the order was cancelled.
Unfortunately, even though I cancelled my subscription before the deadline, I am still being sent meals. I did not even select meals.
I explained my situation to customer service and there response was a cut a past reminder to make cancelations before the deadline.
The customer service rep also left in mid conversation without saying anything. lol
Happy Wednesday!! I am really enjoying the whole experience, some of the foods not so much but its all good. A concern would be getting food on the 11th (8 meals) with the farthest expiry date only 4 days away.
The selection process is amazing and appreciated. Will continue and look forward to choosing next weeks meals.
I initially considered Factor as an educational tool to learn how to eat Keto. I was excited to try the new meals but now the options are so limited every week. I am frustrated by the lack of Keto choices and have considered canceling.
I was enjoying the meals and then 2 weeks in a row my box did not arrive on Monday one week it was Wed and the other on Tuesday. I was not notified that the delivery was going to be late in fact I had to reach out several times.
Well I have mixed opinions on this product...some of the meals I have recieved I didn't like some of them I did... I noticed when cooking the meals the side dishes tend to dry out and so does the meat. I have noticed that I have to take out my veggies and side dishes and let the meat finish off to make it perfect. Also I find the prices are expensive. If I didn't get the discounts I have been getting I probably wouldn't buy them any more. It's just as expensive as eating out however I get a drink and everything that I want with it..... You also need more veriatey..... I noticed most of the meals are chicken. Also maybe if we could have more options like choosing our sides with the meat that might make it better.
New client, first week in, do something with the green beans, they are horrible, hard and tasteless. When heating in the mic; small portions in vegs overcook by the time the entre' heats, some trays not balanced.
Huge issue with cardboard and plastic, recycling headache.
Meals are tastey, nutritious and economical.
If I could give them less stars I would. These meals may be good for people who eat animal products. I have no idea. I was given a voucher from a friend so I thought I would give them a try. There were three meals offered because I'm vegan. They are all horrendous. Absolutely horrendous. I can't get through one of them. I tried all three and the remainder are sitting in my fridge. Frankly, I don't know anybody. I dislike so much that I would want to give them to them. So then when I decide that I'm not going to continue I start sending them messages and of course it takes them so long to do this complaint process with me and I don't have hours to spend on the phone each day that it has taken me 4 days. And of course this is past the cancellation date and they think they're now going to charge me $75. So I had a big long conversation yesterday about this. They were going to refund my money. But today bing, bing, bing. I get something telling me my factor meals are coming tomorrow. Are you off your heads? I couldn't be more explicit about how I feel about these. Now they're going to definitely refund my money but it will be reflected in my banking. They can't seem to provide me any kind of proof of refund. So hello better business bureau hello Bank charge back. These companies need to learn something which is you know. After a while when you get too many of these, the banks will start to look at your credit card privileges. You don't just get to start charging people.
