EXTREMELY BUGGY WIKI EDITORthe editor is the most horrifying writer's nightmare. I once time used to create some article but whenever I try to edit and add something new, it gets f***ed up e.g. some parts of text is gone after saving changes. sometimes the editor freezes and tab crashes. while typing editor starts to act up horribly, causing to jump randomly, and sometimes selecting text then deleting it will delete other parts of article, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, UNDO DOESN'T HELP
The wikis are easy to edit, but ads are everywhere and hogs the CPU and memory and I don't recommend using it on an old Device. Also, the staff became SJWs themselves, even though that "SJW" is censored on the platform. They close down Reception Wikis. Their new layout, UCP, is completely buggy and broken, and their Mediawiki Version is outdated. Their main page contains blog posts you would find in Buzzfeed. Enough said!
Fandom was good before 01.06.2020.But now there is this incredible disturbing ad dilemma!!!The ads aren't on the side. There on the content , making some content broken!!!!Edit : Even wikias that have just been created have this problem. Ruining some texts , as there is content that is overlapped with other content.And I think all content of EVERY wikia and fandom is broken. You can't close these ads , and if so , this "ad closed by Google" won't disappear.
If you're planning on contributing to villains wikia, don't waste your time. The admins there are rude, impatient and don't treat users with the same respect they ask for in return, and they will often ban users for the slightest of reasons. If you're writing a page for the site, the admins will often rush you or delete the page if it isn't finished within the next hour, It doesn't seem to occur to these admins that a lot of us are very busy with our personal lives and there's only so much we can do. Even though it is against the site rules to insult others, especially admins, the admins themselves aren't above insulting users or using taunting, sarcastic language, and reporting it to another admin about it is a waste of time, because they are quick to rationalize and defend other admins behavior, with excuses like "oh he was probably just having a bad day", even though if a user behaved that way, they would be banned from the site for a long time. The admins are also rather unhelpful, if you're having difficulty writing a page for the site, and if you ask for help, the admins will very seldom lift a finger to help, and if you question them in any way, you will be met with a permanent ban for "harassment and intimidation".In short, villains wikia is an awful site full of power-hungry administrators. Avoid.Also don't bother with Heroes Wikia either, because that site is run by the same admins as Villains Wikia, meaning you will have just as much of a hard time there.
