They cancelled my flight and sent an email about how I can get reimbursed. The email instructions were not accurate, None of the information provided by the ai assistant worked. When I contacted them on WhatsApp no one replied despite showing my messages are read. I have been on the phone line waiting and it is silent. I doubt anyone will pick up. This airline is a scam and I know someone else who had the same experience.
Volaris broke my suitcase three months ago, and despite over 75 emails back and forth, I still have not been reimbursed. Customer service repeatedly telling me they have processed it, when I asked for tracking details for my bank they stopped responding altogether. There has been no resolution, no accountability, and no follow-up. I have never been treated so poorly by an airline for something that was their fault!!!
This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. If something goes wrong with your luggage, be prepared to spend months chasing them with no result. I would not recommend Volaris to anyone.
The app failed to allow me to check in, even though I had no luggage. This forced me to go to the counter. Initially, I was met with refusal from a rude staff member. Eventually, another employee assisted me after much insistence, but informed me that I would be put on standby with no guarantee of a spot on the flight. I questioned the situation, suspecting overbooking, but they insisted I had agreed to their terms. Thankfully, I managed to board, but I was told I would have to wait until the next day if I couldn’t. I have a connecting flight, and I'm seriously considering legal action. I strongly advise against using their service under any circumstances; this was my first and last experience with them.

They really need to rethink their entire approach. Customer support is lacking; the representatives struggle with English and their Spanish has a unique accent that makes it difficult for someone familiar with standard Spanish to understand. I could write extensively about my negative experiences with them. If a senior manager or supervisor wishes to discuss this, I would be open to a conversation. They should have a reliable contact number for human responses, as their current virtual messaging system feels outdated and doesn't compare to what other companies offer.

They kept us waiting for hours, provided no solutions, and denied any compensation. No hotel, no reimbursements, no tax refunds—nothing. We lost money on accommodations, a rental car, and restaurant bookings, only to purchase a last-minute ticket with another airline at an exorbitant price due to their decision. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was rude, dismissive, and cold. Not a single apology or acknowledgment of the financial and emotional distress they caused. It felt as if the company culture revolves around apathy and evading responsibility. Flying with this airline is a gamble where the house always wins and the customer always loses. If you value your time, money, or basic human decency, avoid this airline. This was not mere incompetence; it was indifference, disrespect, and a total disregard for customers. I would not recommend this airline to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Steer clear of this airline! I had the worst experience ever! They canceled multiple flights and made it nearly impossible to get a refund, despite purchasing their highest-end fully refundable tickets. Their customer service is a complete failure; reaching someone who can help is nearly impossible. When someone does pick up, they often hang up or transfer you into a dead end. The cancellations forced us to buy last-minute tickets to another airport to get home. We are still owed a refund for canceled flights, and the airline refuses to accept responsibility. Save yourself the stress and choose a reputable airline.
I have traveled with some of the best and worst airlines, and this one is competing hard for the bottom spot. This was a single experience for me, and no amount of money could persuade me to fly with them again. It feels as if they go out of their way to make the experience as unpleasant as possible. There are no redeeming features of this airline, and judging by others’ comments, my experience wasn’t unique. I wish they would strive to improve, but it seems they are content to remain at the bottom.
The flight was acceptable, but the airline broke the telescoping handle of my rolling duffle bag. I raised the issue at the airport, but they only offered me a $30 airline credit valid for 6 months. Since I’ve never flown with them before, I won’t be doing so anytime soon. The repair cost in the USA is about $50, and I have 5.5 months of overseas travel ahead.
