There is no doubt that this is a Rolls Royce experience from start to finish. From the initial consultation, follow up communications, booking process, the surgery itself and the setup of the aftercare, nothing is left to chance. This was my second procedure with Dr. Farjo, and on both occasions I was the only surgery on the day; there was a very friendly team of 2 surgeons (The two doctors Farjo) and numerous nurses and technicians involved in my procedure, which each time was relaxed and painless. The initial results were very good, however I elected for a second procedure as my original hair had continued to thin. The results are remarkable: you don’t realise how ageing that receding hairline is until it is corrected and people start to comment on how young you look. This is not cheap, but in my opinion, it is very good value for money. Indeed, when I consider the size and expertise of the team involved in my treatment and the time it took, I am more inclined to think “how do they do it for the money?” Also, it is very reassuring to leave the surgery with a list of telephone numbers to contact in case of any problems, including a personal mobile for the senior surgeon!
I had a great experience with my procedure at the Farjo Hair Institute. Dr Bessam Farjo, Dr Nilofer Farjo, Cheryl and the entire team are all extremely friendly, professional and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, relaxed and knew exactly what was going on throughout the day of the procedure. Every aspect was taken care of from a well informed pre-op, food and drink throughout the day, and everything required for aftercare during the post op. The institute itself was extremely clean and to the highest of standard. So far I'm extremely happy with how the procedure went and highly recommend to anyone thinking about hair restoration.Thank you again to everyone at the Farjo Hair Institute
I was recommended to Farjo Hair Institute, I went for my consultation with Mr Greg Williams. From walking into the reception I was greeted by warm friendly professional staff. I was greeted by Cheryl, Cheryl made me feel at ease straight away, I was then introduced to Mr Williams the surgeon who I hoped could help me. After an intensive and very thorough examination I was confident that a Hair transplant for right for me. I booked the procedure a month later, during this time Farjo Hair Clinic kept in contact with me making sure I was ok.The whole team , was excellent. I would highly recommend Mr Greg Williams, he made me feel at ease and explained every little detail.Any females who are thinking of a hair transplant, just go and see the team in Manchester. Once again thank you all.Cheryl you were amazing, please pass on my thanks to Janan and Emma, also the nursing staff.
I underwent a FUT hair transplant at the Farjo Hair Institute, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From start to finish, the level of professionalism, care, and expertise was exceptional. I chose Farjo because Dr. Williams was specifically recommended by a friend who works in cosmetic medicine.Prior to the transplant, I had two consultation meetings with Dr. Williams, during which he ensured I was a suitable candidate and provided a clear overview of my options. On the day of the procedure, Dr. Williams personally performed the main surgical steps, including the donor strip removal and the creation of the recipient sites. After being given clear direction by Dr. Williams, the team of technicians handled the graft placement efficiently and with great care. Everyone I encountered on the day was friendly, competent, and clearly experienced. The procedure itself was painless. The aftercare has been faultless. I received clear post-operative instructions, and any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly by the team (both by email and phone). I saw Dr. Williams twice after the surgery, once for staple removal and again for a follow-up assessment.I’m very happy with the results. My hairline, both at the front and crown, has improved significantly and looks completely natural. I’ve also been taking 1mg finasteride daily as recommended, which I believe has helped prevent further hair loss.I would highly recommend Dr. Williams to anyone considering hair restoration.
A very professional job. The initial consultation was accurate and informative; I knew what to expect for my transplant. On the day, each stage was explained to me and it ran like clockwork. I had the strip procedure. During removal there was no pain, but I was aware of it's removal. The ladies worked all day extracting the follicles which were then implanted to restore my hair line (4000 hairs were used to cover two areas above my temple's). The implanting was not painful, but did take most of the day.The after care I was supplied was all sufficient. The main thing is not to scratch the area. The hair started to grow after 3 months, it was very fine. Now 8 months on, I have hair, about 2 inches long, the coverage is good and uniform, and the hairs are getting thicker, but still finer than the rest of my hair. I am told the hair will continue to thicken, I am confident it will based on the last few months.I am trans and already love my feminine hair line, it's brilliant. During these hot days I can tie my hair up and be confident it looks good.I would definitely recommend this procedure.
Second procedure with Farjo. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Very relaxed and friendly experience from start to finish. Farjo are proven long standing professionals with a consistently great reputation. They have a fantastic team and everything is thought through to make your experience as personal as it should be. Don't shop around just trust Farjo for honesty and experience and you won't regret it. Anon.
Dr Williams and his team in Manchester gave me a very warm welcome on my arrival and were most professional and efficient. The procedure went extremely smoothly with no pain and very little discomfort. They were most caring in their approach and asked me regularly if I needed anything such as refreshments etc. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
I attended the Farjo hair clinic in Manchester following a diagnosis of Androgenetic Alopecia. I am in my mid sixties and this happened after menopause. I was convinced I needed a hair transplant. Dr Farjo and his team was absolutely a pleasure to deal with, so understanding. I was recommended one quarter of a tablet called Minoxidil to take daily. After 6 months this was increased to half a tablet, and now one tablet. The difference is dramatic. No hair transplant needed. I came out of that clinic on my first visit and a weight had lifted from my shoulders. They were so kind and supportive. I cannot recommend enough for anyone who has a problem like I did.
Very disappointed with this clinic and the results that I ended up with… I initially went in for my procedure after the usual consultations leading Upto it, up to this point they were fine to deal with, it was only a small procedure 1500 circa hairs to fill in some gaps around my temple area, I’d say it’s probably one of the most straight forward / easiest procedures they would carry on, it was a big area put it that way… anyway skip to the procedure day and I was advised to come in early for 8am, I won’t bore you with to many details but the procedure felt rushed, was meant to stop for some lunch for 30 mins but they were back in the room where I was left to have my lunch within 10-12 mins so I felt a little uncomfortable with this, anyway we carried on and I was surprised at how little Dr Farjo was involved, 98% of the procedure is completed by nurses so if you’re going to this clinic based on a certain reputation… don’t bother… maybe if you’re a celeb you may get the actual ‘DR’ service but for me it was completed by I believe 3 nurses crowded around my head. They told me at the end of the day that there would be regular check ups and consultations to generally check the progress which gave me confidence, I paid just under £7000 for this basis Fue transplant and now we are 16 months later I’ve never heard from them once… I’ve sent a couple of emails but no reply…. I do recall when I first registered my interest the contact from the clinic was relentless in basically securing my deposit, Cheryl I believe who is employed on the sales side will sell you a good solid caring clinic but as I’ve found and a few others from reviews I’ve now read it just isn’t genuine, they don’t actually care about long term progress or results, they are only interested in your money, absolutely gutted as i had a choice of a few clinics but I went with Farjo as they were local and now I’m massively regretting that decision.Overall my results are really poor, I’d say I’m 5/10% better than when I first went in… it’s not very noticeable at all and for what I paid they should have got this right as it was a small area around my temples, nowhere else, I believe they used to few donor hairs, the job was rushed and it felt they were more interested at finishing at 6pm rather than providing me with what I had paid for, don’t forget they also started my procedure 2 hours late at 10pm when I was told it would start at circa 8am, no explanation needed as given for this.I went to this clinic based on the reviews I had read about Dr Farjo but I ended up with an extremely poor experience and I'm now in the process of researching alternative clinics to try and put it right which feels a massive let down when I already paid a substantial amount to them. It feels like if you’re a profile or a celeb you may get the service from Dr Farjo and potentially get good results but please don’t make the mistake that I did and go to this clinic based on reviews for Dr Farjo as it’s highly unlikely he will be a part of your hair transplant on the day, he just does a quick check at the end, the main process will be left to the nurses , I just wish I knew this before I parted with £7000.I’m sure they will reply as they have to other negative reviews and suggest they don’t recognize me or they have no record of me but please believe me this is a true factual story and it’s taken me a long time to come around to leave this review as initially I was going to leave it but I’ve come to the conclusion that others need to be warned that this clinic is not all that it’s cracked up to be unless maybe you’re a ‘profile’ if you’re just a general layman like me then all they see is your money and I believe you will get a poor procedure overall with no serious input from Dr Farjo. Please check reviews online and there is also a video or two on YouTube called ‘my Farjo hair transplant nightmare’ I just wish I had seen this pre op but here’s your chance that if you haven’t had your op yet to do some serious research and fact finding before you part with your hard earned cash. The results are one thing but what I’ve found massively disappointing is the fact once i had my op they didn’t contact me a single time to see how I was getting on, despite saying that they would at different stages, like 6 months, a year etc…I find that now to be extremely revealing and says a lot about them.Yes I did contact them twice but didn’t hear back once……This is a completely factual story and should Farjo hair institute try to deny it like they have with some other bad reviews I will be following up with further information.***massively disappointed**
I just spent 2 days with the Farjo team in their Manchester centre of excellence, after my initial consultation with Dr Williams in their London consulting rooms in January. Dr Williams was completely honest with me at the initial consultation and discussed whether I had approached other methods rather than hair transplantation, I said they were not really for me as my personal choice. After various photos and investigation he was again saying that the donor area on the scalp was limiting from initial look so he suggested a range of beard and scalp to start my journey (1500 &1500).Whe I got to the clinic the team had been very welcoming and basically tended to my every need, I could watch a huge selection of TV, Film, Streaming apps on the big TV in front of the chair. (They also provided wireless earphones and the remote!)What was really positive from my experience is that Dr Williams said my donor area grafts had been better than first thought so we got over 3700 grafts all from the scalp over 2 days!)*so beard is still on the table for my next part of the journey.I'm really tall 6foot6 so they I have to make especially sure not to bump my head.*I would recommend getting a neck pillow for sleeping in the first week or so!**after each day of surgery, you have a detailed post op conversation with the clinical team (Sarah and Michelle for me).Thank you again for the team for the last 2 days! Now the proof will be if my scalp is going to be a 'hospitable' place for these new grafts, fingers crossed!
