I am extremely upset. I paid the R19 and then canceled my subscription but was debited R750 today. I want a refund immediately I did not agree for a debit to go off today the account was canceled after the trial period
Nomatter the explanation can you agree that averageof 1.4 reviews means something is wrong with this institution. These are high Tech scammers hiding on technicalities. Once you pay R19 trial they have your card details they go ahead and steal/ debit your account without your consent. I doubt very much if all bad reviews means people are failing to interpret the terms and conditions. They are no genuine tenants or rentals that can be found on this platform they are outdated and stolen from genuine listing's

They are not a legitimate rental platform but a sophisticated scam operation designed to take your money without providing any real value. Save yourself the stress, money, and hassle – DO NOT give them your credit card information. Misleading trial, automatic subscription charges, hard‑to‑cancel service, poor support, and duplicate listings from free sites. Feels like a subscription trap. Avoid and do not enter card details. The actual "service" they provide is worthless. The property listings are often outdated, inaccurate, or simply scraped from other, free websites. Many users, myself included, suspect that some listings are outright fake, serving only as bait to get you to sign up for their "trial." You will gain no legitimate advantage by using Rentola.

No account was created, no login details were provided, and there was no effective way to unsubscribe. Even the complaint form on the site is non-functional. This lacks transparency and is exploitative. After this incident, I discovered many others sharing similar experiences, indicating that this is likely intentional and systemic rather than user error. Any service operating this way should be embarrassed by its treatment of customers. Steer clear at all costs.
The rental platform features misleading listings. I was shocked to see my current apartment in the 'Bin Mahmoud' area listed for around Qr 2000, while the actual rent is approximately Qr 5000. They misrepresent prices to attract potential renters and then ask for payment to proceed. This is entirely deceptive. I strongly advise against using this platform!

Keep pushing for a refund. This is definitely a scam site. After numerous emails, they eventually returned 50% of my money as a 'goodwill gesture.' If you've been scammed, don’t stop contacting them and insist on a refund. I still lost half of my money, but by persistently reaching out, I got something back. I will report them wherever I can.
This company charges your card without consent. When the trial period ends, they should ask if you want to subscribe for another month before taking money from your account without permission. It appears they are scamming people by offering a low weekly rate and then withdrawing funds without consent.
Terrible experience, expensive, and nearly scam-like behavior. I advise everyone to avoid this website. Many of the listed apartments are no longer available or shared without permission. Additionally, it doesn't allow you to cancel the payment plan immediately after subscribing, making it easy to incur extra charges if you forget. They count by hours, not days.
IT'S A SCAM. AVOID THIS SITE! 99% OF LISTINGS ARE FAKE. I would give them -5 stars if possible. Do not subscribe; canceling is very difficult. They charged me $40 before the free trial ended. I’ve raised the case with my bank, but for your reference, DO NOT PAY ANY AMOUNT AS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU MORE THAN YOU EXPECT!
