Review Time
A few years ago, I took a crash course on investing with Cole, and it has paid dividends- excusing the pun. In 2022, I started my investment journey, and all I had to do was simply apply the fundamentals and principles that Cole spoke about during our session. I had no previous experience with investing in stocks, and I walked away from that session with confidence in knowing how to strategically invest my money. I invested equally in four companies I researched that aligned with my values and ethics. In 2025, I have more than doubled my return on my investment. Additionally, when my son was born last year, I did the same thing for him. I opened a Sharesis account under his name, and I researched four companies, and I continually invest $50 a fortnight, applying the same fundamentals and principles. In a year, my son's investment portfolio has increased 60%. I would highly recommend to anyone, to reach out to Cole and start their investment journey or to hone their investing strategy. The small investment of spending time with Cole has set me up financially and given me the confidence to know how to manage my investment portfolio. Every time I look at my investment portfolio, I have a smile that you couldn't remove with a wire brush.
Find Fat Fish, with Cole and Pericles, has been a really interesting, rewarding and enjoyable journey. When I first met up with Cole I told him (joking) that if it didn't work out on the course I would give him a really bad trust pilot review. However, as it turns out, having almost completed the course, I have to give him a really good one - I'm totally hooked! (sorry....if you don't have your fish puns ready you will not be seen as coming to workshops with your "A" game ready)The course Cole has devised has totally given me the confidence to review companies and decide on whether they are going to be a decent investment for myself and Cole and Pericles also actually are right on top of participants to make their investment plans and see them through - while you are still on the course!!! No letting us off the hook (again...apologies, while my mastery is not as refined as some on the course, I have a total lack of self restraint when it comes to the fish puns now).It is a fair bit of work but I have managed to do it around a fair few major events in my life and a very full work schedule - so it is possible! The course has removed many of my own roadblocks to moving forward with investment in shares and away from property, and demystified and rebutted many commonly held academic understandings and even my father's views on investing. Cole has in addition to this made the whole research process so fascinating it has created a brand new obsession for me which I would hazard a guess is a reasonably healthy and productive one compared with others I could have adopted during this time of upheaval in my life. The process Cole teaches to research companies and guage their worth as capital growth investments is presented accessibly and in a really interesting way and it was achievable by everyone that I came across on the course - although we all went in surprisingly different directions which was also a further useful and broader insight I will reflect upon in the future. It is great to see others going through at earlier and later stages of the journey in weekly workshops as well as you see there are quite a few common denominators in epiphanies reached along the way.I feel my little comment here on Trustpilot doesn't even touch the sides of how much I have enjoyed Cole's programme and Cole and Pericles' insights into me and the psychology of everyone and I would encourage others to sign up if you are looking to have the confidence to take a first step into investing, or to obtain a re-think of, or encouragement for current or past investment strategies.Thanks Cole and Pericles!!
I first stumbled upon Cole and his course while tuning into a Darcy Ungaro podcast. Cole talked about the different types of investors he encounters, from the super motivated and well-positioned to those who probably shouldn't invest at all. One of Cole's best qualities is his ability to assess where you fall on that spectrum and ensure you don't get in over your head.The "New and Nervous Parents" type really struck a chord with me. We had just welcomed a baby and were determined to provide her with what our families couldn't—generational wealth and the freedom to pursue her passions without financial pressure. My husband and I had dabbled in investing over the years, often influenced by office chatter and quick to sell at the first sign of trouble, without truly understanding the companies we invested in.I shared the podcast with my husband, who was initially skeptical. But after our first conversation with Cole, his clear and confident explanation of the course and the opportunities it offered convinced us to dive in. We started the course the very next week, and it did not disappoint. The 8-week journey was intense, but also a lot of fun and incredibly empowering.We wrapped up the course in September 2023 and haven't looked back since. We took a hard look at our existing portfolio and sorted out the Cat Fish from the Fat Fish—sadly, no Fat Fish in sight, which wasn't too surprising given our previous uninformed optimism. We sold off all our less desirable investments and are now genuinely pleased with where our money is going. We take the time as a couple of continue to do the work on our investments and to hunt for more treasure. Our only regret over the past year and a half has been the tight financial belts we've had to wear (thanks to the jealous mistress of the mortgage and high interest rates), which meant we couldn't invest more into our Fat Fish. We're eagerly looking forward to celebrating our second Fat Fishiversary this September, and we just know you can too if you embrace the process and let Cole open up your world.

Cole, with Find Fat Fish is an amazing teacher. He came into our lives at a most opportune time. His passion for teaching and mentoring are a welcome change in a world that, at times, seems to have become a little to self centered and a bit uninterested in "keeping it real". The process he teaches is concise, straight forward and easy to understand. I recommend his course for anyone who would like to have a very clear understanding on how his technique works. My husband and I just completed the 8 week Find Fat Fish Workshop! Cole is excellent, he delivers his unique workshop that's very fun to watch and easy to understand, provides personalized support as you progress through and has you feeling empowered to make your own choices when it comes to stock picking. Prior to learning how to Find Fat Fish, I was intimidated by the stock market and my husband was afraid of numbers. These problems quickly dissolved by week 3 of the workshop.We are way more optimistic about our future in terms of being financially free. We've been gifted a pathway through Fat Fishing so what financial freedom means to us could be achieved in the nearer future than the unforeseeable distant one that we had envisioned prior to the workshop.Could not recommend more, it was everything that I'd been hoping to find when searching for lessons in how to invest and much more.
I cannot recommend this course highly enough. I have long been interested in the stock market and investing but most of my efforts fell far short of my hopes. Despite trying to understand the workings of the stock market I made very little practical progress over years.In the space of 8 weeks I now have the confidence to pick and then invest in companies I am interested in, using the process taught by Cole. He is an excellent coach, meeting each participant where they are at and moving them forward without telling them the answers.This course does not just give you a list of companies to invest in, for that stick to your stock market reports. Rather Cole teaches you how to choose your own Fat Fish ( stocks) and then invest in them for the medium to long term. The modules are well structured and easy to follow. Each week requires you to do the work, well supported by the Fat Fish team and the Q&A’s each week are motivating and inspiring as we shared and learned from one another.I am just beginning to build my Fat Fish portfolio, but I am confident our financial future is bright.

I'd been wanting to invest in shares for quite a while. Through Cole's guidance through the workshop, I've gained the knowledge to be able to identify strong companies with the potential for massive future growth. It has been about 1 year now since my spouse and I completed the Find Fat Fish course/workshop. I consciously delayed providing a review of this course until now as I wanted to have a year of practical experience under our belts before providing a balanced review. When we completed the course we almost felt giddy with this new found knowledge, and so I wanted for some time to pass to execute our plan, gain some learnings (and to come down from our emotional high) before commenting on the experience. In short, the course itself aids you in developing a semi-passive buy & hold long term strategy that is concentrated on a few high growth potential stocks. The course is structured where the first half is partially technical in the view of identifying, evaluating and selecting stocks. Whereas the second half of the course is more about developing a robust plan to emotionally ground you in executing your investment goals. The final steps of the course supports you in taking real action on your plan i.e. buying your selected stocks that you have evaluated during the course. So after a year of taking action we look back and agree this is probably one of the best courses and investment decisions we have made. We thoroughly enjoyed the course, we consumed and absorbed every bit of content and felt empowered and ambitious to take the next steps. We gained a new perspective in how to invest, but also reframed what money means and how it influences our lives. Our investment strategy is slightly more active in what is maybe needed, but we enjoy tracking and engaging with our investments. We also enjoy the catch-up calls with the support group and to hear how everyone is progressing or other insights. We have very much enjoyed this journey and highly recommend it to others to do the same if they are willing to invest in themselves and take an active lead in their financial future.
