I purchased 8 portions of fish for nearly £100. The delivery was as expected, but upon opening, I found that 5 of the 8 fillets were from the collar of the fish. This results in triangular pieces instead of the rectangular ones I anticipated. While it may seem minor, I'm aiming to deliver a high-quality dining experience for my clients, and making those 5 portions uniform is nearly impossible without excessive waste and a significant decrease in serving size. It's disappointing to receive less desirable cuts in an online order; it feels quite unfair. One portion like that would have been acceptable, but receiving 5 out of 8 is simply unacceptable. I will not be using this seller again.

Extremely poor customer service. After placing an order and paying £14 for delivery, I immediately emailed to change the delivery address, and was assured it was no problem. However, the delivery was attempted at the original address but to the wrong door. When I called, I was told they'd arrange for redelivery. I heard nothing and called again, receiving the same response. Later, I got an email saying my order was ready for pickup from a distant location. After another call, they promised to arrange delivery for the next day, but that never happened. I received a reminder to collect it. Days later, I got an email asking if I could collect, which I couldn't. After multiple failures on their part, I now have to pursue a chargeback through my bank, which they will incur fees for. It’s frustrating that they are attempting to shift blame onto me for their incompetence. The reviews speak for themselves.
I needed a source for premium beef and ended up using this service multiple times due to their outstanding products! Their customer service is also top-notch, with flawless communication. The only downside is that everything is so delicious!
We ordered wagyu steak for a special occasion, and it was exceptional! The flavor and quality were remarkable, and everyone enjoyed it. We faced a delivery issue that could have disrupted everything (our fault), but the customer service was just as stellar as the steak. They resolved the issue despite it being our mistake. I can't recommend this service highly enough for both their products and customer treatment. We're grateful for their role in making a memorable event.
Update: From 1 star to 5 stars. I've never done this before, but the customer service was excellent. They recognized an error and made every effort to correct it. Thank you for restoring my faith. I ordered premium oranges and lemons for an event, but the lemons arrived moldy due to poor packaging. The oranges were fine, but I ended up having to use generic lemons, which was disappointing. I had hoped to find a reliable source.
I previously ordered during a different time and was impressed, but this latest order was lacking. Two packs of wagyu mince were missing and sent the next day. The mangos from the first delivery were overripe, and one was punctured. I did receive a refund for this. The beetroot was mediocre. When I finally got the wagyu mince, I made burgers, but the meat had a gamey taste. I’ll try a different method with the remaining batch. Overall, I'm not impressed this time around.
