I ordered a framed art print. When I took it out of the box I discovered a large chip out of the top of the frame near the top of the print. The glass was not broken and no fragments of the frame were in the box. So they used a damaged frame and changed me full price for it. No one from Fine Art America will respond.
The mug I received was of poor quality and very basic, not matching the cost or promotional claims. It simply had 'Made in China' on it. There was also a long wait for delivery, and I was later asked to provide images of it in my home, which raised concerns about potential scams aimed at collecting personal information. I did check reviews beforehand, but I won't be using this service again.
I ordered a print-on-order photo on metal. The photo arrived in excellent condition and was stunning. However, there was an issue: it came without any hanging hardware, just a small wooden block on the back. It felt like it was up to me to figure out how to hang it. Given the price of over $100, I anticipated more.
My overall experience with this platform has been quite disappointing. While it provides a space for artists to showcase their work, the execution is lacking. The upload process can be cumbersome, and the product options often do not meet expectations, making it difficult for artists to effectively turn their creations into prints and merchandise. Instead of enabling artists to focus on their creativity, the platform’s limitations hinder their ability to reach a wider audience, particularly for independent and traditional artists who struggle with logistical challenges.
I am a new artist on this platform and joined at the start of the holiday season to promote my art. Unfortunately, almost all my customers faced significant issues with the site, some so severe they couldn't complete their orders! Additionally, the support for my customers was very inadequate. I’m extremely disappointed and am seriously thinking about removing all my images from the platform. Quality concerns: The 'Tapestry' product is not a real tapestry and should be clarified in the description or removed entirely. My customer was very let down! Puzzle issue: I purchased a puzzle for my daughter, but it had a strong chemical smell when they tried to use it. Shouldn't non-toxic glue be used in puzzle production? Especially given the high price of the puzzles. Technical problems: Several customers struggled to log in from Apple devices. One client faced issues at checkout as the form kept reloading, preventing her from completing her order! This is unacceptable! Customer support issues: When I reported the tapestry quality issue, I received no response. Similarly, my client got no reply regarding her login problems. This is unacceptable!
A seamless and quick transaction from beginning to end. I ordered a large painting printed on perspex, which now proudly adorns my living room wall. I love it and highly recommend this platform. They offer a vast array of global artists and designs at reasonable prices. You can even upload your own artwork to sell on their site. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
I ordered a product to arrive by Christmas. I had to call to check on the delay, only to find out the matting I wanted was unavailable. That happens, but then I received an email canceling my order just 9 days before Christmas, stating that the print size I wanted was not available, even though the website said it was. No indication of this issue was given when I called.
The print I received was of very poor quality, likely scaled up from a smaller version, and printed on cheap paper. I have ordered prints from this artist before through another service, and the difference in quality is stark. I will never order from this platform again and would advise others to avoid it as well.
