Review Time
Made an order a week ago and schedule delivery for Friday. No delivery and no communication all day. At 4pm called them and they said would call depot to check on it. I had seen they closed at 5pm so called again just before as had not called back. Again said would call depot and come back to me after being on hold while they tried to contact them for 15 minutes. Again never called back. So still have no firewood and looking at some of review on here also now worried about quality of what I will receive. T
I ordered kiln dried hardwood but a large amount is softwood which is spitting as it burns. Also a large amount of thin strips along with rounds that appear to be fence posts, The wood also has a strong smell of damp, this all could be a one off situation but it is my personal experience.
We have given Firewood.co.uk 2 chances, for the first order we paid extra for a morning delivery as we work evenings, when it didn't arrive we phoned and cancelled the order, the company phoned us back and talked us into giving them another chance and promised it would be delivered A.M next day, but it turned up at 4 in the afternoon on the day I cancelled it, so we rejected it, the driver was not happy at all, it did then get re delivered next day in the morning, so we ordered again, and again paid extra for a specific day (our day off) we recrived an email confirming this, by lunch time I phoned again jyst to check and was told it is not on the list to be delivered today! Some issue again. Order cancelled won't be using them again

Most logs lacked weight and substance; while they do burn well, we find ourselves using twice as many compared to our usual supplier, which means constant reloading of our burners. As someone who appreciates quality logs, I won't be placing another order due to the inferior quality.

As someone who appreciates quality logs, I won't be purchasing again due to their poor quality.
This was marketed as premium kiln-dried wood, but it’s nearly impossible to ignite. I had to buy additional wood from another store to start the fire. Once it finally burns, it produces smoke and requires constant feeding with firelighters or kindling.
I’ve ordered before and had great experiences, but the latest delivery was disappointing. The delivery window extended until the 24th, and nothing arrived with no updates from the courier until late yesterday, when they promised to follow up but didn’t. The logs are excellent, but the new delivery service needs improvement.
