Good experience overall, had two different trainers (Chris and Shane) and both explained everything well and asked any questions presented to them. The training overall was engaging, and I left feeling confident that I am more prepared to be first aider.
A compact, condensed but practical training on Emergency First Aid in the workplace. Covers the legal requirements, identification of situations and practical management of a first aid scenario, as well as hands-on instruction around CPR, when and how to use the recovery position, and basic bandaging for cuts and wounds. Trainers who want the group to be relaxed, receptive and confident and achieve that with good knowledge, an approachable manner and palpable practical skills.
This is a very important subject that has been discussed, presented and received excellently by Tony. If anyone is considering an understanding of mental health awareness or mental health 1st aid - I would thoroughly recommend StAndrews First Aid
Excellent training, clear, no nonsense material delivered in a warm (not too warm) clean, comfortable environment. The trainer was instructive, with a good sense of humour and read the room well with well timed breaks and kept the room relaxed and on topic at all times.
