Dreadful customer service, very rude, sarcastic and dismissive and no ownership of errors. Website incorrectly advertised items as new and ex-commercial, battered old equipment sent when new was purchased. Shocking Company, customer service a whole experience. 0/10
PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE - DO NOT BUY REFURBISHED EQUIPMENT FROM THIS COMPANYI purchased a refurbished Precor TRM 885 Treadmill from this company which cost me £1695. We used it all of 10 times over a 3 month period before it produced a fault code and stopped working. I have since contacted customer support who diagnosed the fault over the phone to save the £170 call out fee, only to say that the machine was too old to get parts for and that they couldn’t help me unless I found a second hand part myself. I have now found the part which cost £450 and have also been advised that there is no guarantee that this will fix it. So in summary I have a worthless machine that is less than 12 months old and is uneconomical to repair. I have calculated that each run cost me £169. If just one person reads this and avoids making the same mistake then it will have been worth writing this review. Go and buy a £700 new Nordic Track Machine instead with a 2-5 year warrenty!
I have had an excellent experience in all my dealings with Fitkit. Great equipment and when I had a problem with they sent out a really outstanding engineer, Liam, who quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem. Always professional and reliable and great expertise. Definitely leaders in what they do.
Ordered a cross trainer. It didn’t fit through my front door – after waiting weeks for delivery. I cancelled immediately.FitKit responded with the energy of someone who’s just been told the pub kitchen is closed.Rude, dismissive, and absolutely determined to charge me nearly £500 in “restocking” and “return” fees… for an item that never even crossed the threshold of my home.£500 to take back the thing they still had!! Be serious.Fortunately, I bought it on finance and Novuna were absolute angels from heaven.They reviewed everything and told FitKit to cancel the agreement with NO fees.FitKit then had to comply, although they did so with all the grace of a toddler being told it’s bedtime.Apparently FitKit think their T&Cs override UK law.Adorable. Truly.The only reason this was resolved is because Novuna stepped in — not because FitKit acted fairly, professionally, or even vaguely politely.If you enjoy being spoken to like you’ve never seen a calendar or read a sentence, while arguing basic consumer rights, then by all means, treat yourself.Everyone else: run
I got my Pulse Fitness bike from FitKit because it’s the same one I used to use at my local gym and I really liked it. The first bike had a fault, but the team was great. Particularly Liam who came over three times, first to replace the bike and then to help with some software update issues. He was super patient, friendly, and genuinely wanted to get it sorted. Honestly, I can’t fault the service. Although there was a little bit of a wait to get the bikes swapped, but overall FitKit have been brilliant from start to finish. Highly recommend!
