I was skeptical, but it turned out great!

I was skeptical of their service because I had never heard of being able to buy status! But I was absolutely shocked when I received that email that said my order went through! I received my AA Executive Platinum status within days of my order! What is nice about their service is that you will not be charged until after your status has been approved and you have received your order. So you may not be charged for a couple of days which did confuse me in the beginning, but it all worked out great in the end!

I bought the United 1K status

I bought the United 1K status. It was very quick—after I placed the order (maybe a day later, maybe same day—I don’t recall) one of their folks contacted me on the phone, took some personal info and then got it set up and active within an hour. Note that it is a ‘trial/ challenge 1K’ with a reduced goal to get the full 1K (only that gets you the pluspoints). Having the status has helped me get upgrades and board early. Overall I’m very happy—they delivered exactly what they promised.

Basis Travel is the way to go!

Basis Travel made my summer travel sooo much better. I knew I was going to have several long haul flights coming up, so I decided to sign up for the United Premier 1K access. The process was really easy and the support staff was always super helpful responsive to any questions I had. My status was bumped up and this allowed me to get upgrades to business class on all of my long distance flights. It's definitely worth it if you are committed to a lot of flights within a few months. I'd really love it there was a way to pay and extend the status. They'd have me as a repeat customer for life.

Great service

Flybasis is a great service for frequent flyers. It was recommended by a friend and I’ve gone on to refer more friends. The EXP status with AA paid for itself.
