I’ve been a loyal customer of Fortador Steamers USA for over three years, investing more than $17k in their equipment for my detailing business. While I've generally been satisfied with their products, my recent experiences have been beyond frustrating.Two years ago, I had a similar issue with the hose on my steamer. Rather than spend $1000 on a replacement, I partially fixed it myself and continued using it, albeit in a janky condition. Recently, I decided to purchase a brand-new hose and steam gun, expecting better performance. Unfortunately, on the very first use, the new hose blew up in my hand, with steam leaking out from the buttons and wand head—even with the steam pressure set as low as possible.Despite my experience and careful use, my Fortador rep refused to replace the faulty hose and blamed me for the issue. After years of loyalty and significant investment, I expected better support and a resolution, especially for a clear product defect. This situation has left me extremely disappointed and questioning whether I should continue using Fortador products in the future. As a valued customer, I deserve better treatment and a company that stands behind its products.
Our experience with the Fortador PRO Max has been nothing short of awesome! The website was super easy to navigate, and we found all the info we needed right there. After placing our order, we got a call the next day to confirm everything and see if we needed any extra gear. The machine arrived on time, and we were stoked to find some cool extras like a hat and sweatband in the box.The Fortador PRO Max is a beast—its high performance blew us away, and the extraction feature is seriously cool. Upon delivery, the equipment arrived damaged, and the accompanying chemicals were punctured and leaked due to what appeared to be inadequate packing. This initial setback was just the beginning. Fortadore's response to this issue was less than satisfactory. While they did promise a replacement, what I received was merely a repair of the damaged unit, which was returned in a used and poorly functioning state. Moreover, there was no attempt to replace the leaked chemicals, which further added to my losses.My attempt to resolve these issues was met with an unexpected proposal from Fortadore: to charge me thrice the shipping cost, almost $2,000, and a restocking fee for returns. This approach not only seemed unreasonable but also compounded the inconvenience and financial burden already experienced.An additional concern arose from the payment methods - Fortadore insisted on wire transfers or cashier’s checks only, a stipulation that, in hindsight, might be considered a red flag regarding their business practices.In summary, my experience with Fortadore has been deeply unsatisfying and costly. Their handling of the transaction, customer service, and problem resolution falls significantly short of professional standards. I regret my decision to engage with them and hope this review helps other businesses make more informed choices.
