Review Time
The product itself works great. I signed up for the 7 day free trial on April 14th. On April 20th, it renewed for a year. I asked for it to be canceled the same date, but they said that since I hadn't canceled before April 21st, they could provide a refund. I received this email on April 20th. I'm assuming it's a misunderstanding based on time zones but they have yet to correct this mistake.Update: They’ve stayed engaged and have refunded the renewal charge.
Fotojet is a great graphic desiner! It's really good! I would recommend it! But one problem that was bothering me for 2 years. Why do I have to pay for fonts and stuff? Some fonts aren't as good anyway. Why do I have to pay to change the resolution? Not much stuff is free. This is my final review at Fotojet. I am going to go to a new Graphic Designer website called Snappa! Almost everything is free. Like literally, I found it recently. Anyway, I have to leave this Graphic Designer website. The first thing they ask you is that you fill your credit card number if you want to try the program; after that, they do not warn you about the payment anymore, they catch the money directly when the trial ends. Why does not Fotojet warn you a day before payment for example? It was perfect if Fotoject send an email asking you about your experience with trial version and inviting you to pay, but not, it is easier catch the money and run; because I am sure a big part of their incomes come from people that forget to unsubscribe during trial version. It doesn't matter if you says 1h after they catch the money that you don't want one year subscription. They don't care, they only want your money.I am pretty sure they will answer (if they answer) that they warn about this payment 7 days before, but this is exactly what I am trying to explain, their business model is to get money from people that forget unsubscribe more that get loyal and satisfied customers.As far as the App is concern, it is actually very simple. You can do same designs with PowerPoint as well. The most interesting is the photo editor (simple as well), but the web works in desktop only, not in mobile, so, you cannot use with your cell cam.Waste of effort, time and money.
I have tried to cancel and I couldn't find the cancel my subscription button. I then emailed them and they only just replied to my email today and as a result of this I will now be charged!? I told them this was an accidental purchase made on my computer and they replied outside of my 7 day free trial and have said I will be billed. I still have not had my account cancelled for me, instead they instructed me to cancel myself even after I explained I was having difficulty doing this and needed their guidance and support. Do not subscribe to this unfair company.
