I visited the restaurant last night. The food was delightful, but the service was lacking. After arriving, we waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken. The lager was not enjoyable. Although the food was excellent, our waitress never checked in on us or offered more drinks or dessert. After 10 minutes of trying to get attention, we chose to leave. When the bill arrived, we requested the removal of the optional tip, which led to eye rolls and unhelpful looks, along with another long wait. No one addressed our concerns. When I finally asked for the card machine, the staff prioritized cleaning dishes instead, requiring us to ask again. Overall, the service was rude and unhelpful. We won’t be coming back.

I was rather let down during our visit. There were five of us, and while selecting our meals, we were informed there was 'no artichoke' for my dish, 'no chicken' for the pizza or pasta, and 'no apple juice' or any juices available. There was also no named lager or beer. We noticed a supermarket nearby. The seating was basic and not very comfortable. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms, and the area around the sinks looked dirty. Service was slow overall.
I've never met a pizza I didn't enjoy, but this one was terrible. The base was soggy and flavorless, except for the grease, and I couldn't finish it. My partner managed to finish his but felt ill afterward. The prices for two pizzas were outrageous with an added service charge, but we were too frustrated to complain. Overall, a very disappointing meal.
While I’ve had good experiences at the Cheltenham branch before, my visit on Saturday afternoon was disappointing. We were initially told they couldn’t accommodate us, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. They then suggested we sit outside. We watched as walk-ins were seated while others were turned away, which felt random. Our service was poor, as they kept forgetting about us. I’m not sure we’ll return.
