I joined G2i in 2023 and all I can say is that it's the best developer community out there. The vetting process is straightforward, the community is amazing and everyone at G2i care about developers. You get access to not only a job board, but also to a burnout coach that you can book free sessions with. Overall, I'm very happy and proud being a part of G2i community!
I have been a member of the G2i community for almost a year now. Their Slack channels are active and always share relevant updates about job openings, tech news and experiences shared by members. Really a great place to share knowledge and keep up-to-date on technology news and trends. The community managers are always there to help us with job applications and anything we need.
Totally waste of time, employees Ana and Gabriel reached me out through LinkedIn with automated private message for Senior Backend Engineering.They had lack of information related to the position so I respond with few questions where I get additional information and instructions for next step which was one side interview on Hireflix platform. Video questions were technical about position.They started spamming me whole weekend on LinkedIn and emails to do video interview as soon as possible since they in hurry.Once I done it, I inform them nicely and now they are ghosting for weeks.Common scam agency, do not waste any time.
I love G2i's efforts in making sure the developers get quality work and the founders do the right hire.They managed everything from contracts to the payment transactions.Thanks to the supportive community managers who check in with you and the client for performance reviews.I absolutely love this community and am an active member of it.
G2i is great network for a developer with 10+ years of experience. Know that most jobs won't be a fit for any one person's skillset. It's very important to take the time to interview the client to see if a job is a good fit for you. I've been on a contract for over 4 months now with a series-c startup, they always paid on time at the negotiated rate.
I've done the vetting interview for G2i in 2022 and, since then, I've been actively participating in their Slack Channel. I've seen lots of great Job Opportunities there - most of them are exclusively for G2i members. The payment rate is also great and fair. I've already worked with 3 clients for G2i, and I can see what they mean on client "quality" - they also vet clients. I never had any burnout or work exploration issues from G2i clients and that's also a green light. I'd totally recommend you take their vetting process if you are a Software Developer!
