Review Time
Making it through the interview process with G2 for a graduate recruiter opportunity has been a great learning experience. I was met with well formed interviews, while getting a feel for the job and meeting lots of great people along the way.
Worked there for the majority of last year and I was sold a dream in my interview. The office culture is terrible and you are expected to work 11-12 hour shifts. The sales manager was incredibly selfish and extremely patronising. The UK sales director as well falls into this category and loves talking about how well he has done at every opportunity
Very poor experience. I have lots of experience in the legal field and was contacted by several consultants and supposedly I was put forward for a role. They were "well impressed with my local authority experience". Once i was "put forward" no contact from the two guys (i won't name either of them). I have blocked them on linkedin and refuse to deal with g2 for a truly shocking service. They continued to bombard me with calls from other consultants, i've also blocked g2's number. I now exclusively only deal with two recruitment agencies and would never work or want to work with g2 again.
The most frustrating agency Ive ever dealt with. They bombard your mail inbox and phone with vacancies that are non existent just to fish out some information from you on who else is recruiting out there, what roles are available& where, to get names of team managers/correct contacts. They pretend to be concerned asking where else your name has been forwarded by other agencies. So that they take infor/placements from what you share. Housing team in Birmingham ie Joseph & his team- so so frustrating. They should stop raising our hopes or we will report them as they will be doing it for their own interests & never for applicant's. So far they have claimed they have put me forward for 100+ job apps but till today non has EVER led to interview or even just follow up. 1 email after another but when I replied that I am interested in the position. No communication again The next thing is another email to say that there is a job I am suitable for. Too many emails, when I responded or call they don't seem to know what they have sent out. I don't think there is any real job that exist. Dealt with them for a year now but still no help, nothing has led to an interview or even informal chat with employer. So unhelpful. I am so frustrated with them
I’d give them no stars if I could. Call from one person who was to follow up with client. His colleague rang me next day with no information about me so how could he “sell” me to anyone? Apparent that second person had no idea what job entailed. This is a scam. I’m concerned what they do with information. No trust
