GB liners have been above and beyond helpful moving my unaccompanied personal effects from the UK to Australia. They handheld me thorough the hold process and my goods arrive expertly packed, and pristine, no issues what so ever. The staff have been so pleasant throughout the whole process, particularly Paul and Mandy. I highly recommend them. I have done several overseas moves over the last 20 years. This was my first time using GB liners, and I would absolutely use them again.
We have used GB Liners for 2 moves in the last 3 years and on both occasions they have been exemplary. We first moved from North Yorkshire to Shropshire via their storage (using the Leeds branch), and more recently from Shropshire to Surrey, also via GB Liners storage (using the Hereford branch).
All contacts with the office staff were efficient, helpful and friendly, with Emma at Hereford being a particular stand out for responsiveness and flexibility. Our most recent move had to be re-quoted multiple times to fit round a complex house buying chain and changes between direct move and via storage - Emma was unfailingly patient throughout!
The men who did the physical move at both ends were hard-working, professional, friendly and a pleasure to have around. They did a brilliant job packing and not a single item was damaged in transit or storage. They were very thorough and careful in protecting the house from damage and we could not have asked for more. Hopefully we will be staying put for a while so won't need movers again any time soon, but if we did I would choose GB Liners without hesitation.
Great service from scouting options for moving my household belongings from Germany to UK - over consultation about "transfer of residency" (ToR) approval and finalizing picking my packed stuff from a container within a storage house and delivering it a couple days later within their international tour. Overall a very pleasant experience and professional handling. Highly recommended.
We moved from Brighton to Auckland in New Zealand, starting in August and finishing by November. We chose this service due to their excellent quote for a 40-foot container. The booking was straightforward, and the team was very helpful and responsive. They made the international moving process, including customs and quarantine, easy as they managed everything. They took three days to pack our items, and their efficiency was impressive—this was our third international move, and they were the best by far, ensuring everything was double-wrapped and carefully packed. We had only one minor breakage out of 240 boxes and 80 items. While there may have been a bit too much wrapping at times, I prefer that to damaged goods. The container experienced a month-long delay in Singapore, but that was out of their control. Once it arrived in Auckland, another representative took over and did an excellent job managing quarantine and delivering our items. While I don’t plan to move internationally again, I would definitely choose this service if I had to. Excellent work!
The local branch provided outstanding service. They were helpful and informative over the phone, quick to arrange a video call for a quote, and flexible with delivery. On the day of the move, the team was exceptional: courteous, cooperative, well-organized, and efficient. I would gladly recommend their services to others.
They maintained a high level of professionalism from my initial inquiry to the last box being packed and taken away. They were very responsive to all my questions and helped alleviate the stress of the situation. Everything happened as they promised, and I am extremely pleased.
