Great service

Me and my husband got excellent service, very happy with the result. So far the best option we've tried in Georgia.

Terribly disappointed …I ordered carpet…

Terribly disappointed …I ordered carpet and padding. 1 roll of padding was damaged. It was rolled up and in plastic, when opened it had holes punched all the way through the roll. After contacting Georgia Carpet, and getting the run around for several weeks I was told I only paid $3.99 for the padding and I was offer a discount to repurchase at $2.75. I paid $74.00 a roll, don’t know where they got that number and I paid $265 to get it shipped. Since I paid them for shipping they should make sure it arrived undamaged. Never buy from them again.

Steve Brownlee is the best

Steve Brownlee is the best! Initially I was very wary about spending over $5k on luxury vinyl from a company thousands of miles away. However, throughout the whole process, Steve was there to answer all my questions (even on weekends), and helped me get the best deals on all the materials I need to order for my project. Thank you Steve and thank you Georgia Carpet!

Incredibly DISAPPOINTED

Incredibly DISAPPOINTED with the service. We had beautiful hard wood floors both purchased and installed from Georgia Carpets. Really wanted to buy locally. Floors are now squeaking and shifting even when no one is on the floor. I have contacted them a total of 6 times, yes 6!! It was suggested that I sprinkle baby powder on them to see if that helps. Did that with no improvement an now no one will respond to my calls. I would NOT RECOMMEND at all. Super unhappy.

The vinyl planks arrived damaged. I can't get anyone with the company to discuss this issue with me

I ordered 2 boxes of vinyl flooring. When I opened one box the planks had rather large pieces of the corner broken off. I have tried to contact them to get this resolved. I am told there is only one person I can speak to, there is no one else I can speak with on this matter. My calls don't get returned. It looks like I am just out the money and will have to see if I can purchase this flooring from somewhere else. I will be contacting my credit card company to see what else I can do.

Alex was the best

Alex was the best! I live in a rule area in New Mexico. Had no knowledge of carpet. And a small budget. He took the time to help me get what I wanted at a price I could afford. I have referred several friends to him. Thank you Alex

I will never do business with Georgia Carpet

I will never do business with Georgia Carpet Industries again. I really hoped they would make the situation right but so far nothing. I placed an order of approx 550 square feet of Coretec flooring on May 10th, 16 boxes. Seth was helpful and prompt replying to my emails before I ordered. I received the flooring on June 29th. When the carrier opened the back of the box truck there was visible damage to the boxes. I called Seth asking what I should do. I told him I wanted to refuse the whole thing. He told me to not refuse it and to note on the paperwork the damage before signing and to take photos and he would forward it to Jade, in the claims department. Once the pallet was off truck it was apparent there was way more damage. Broken ends and visible to at least 4 boxes. When my husband got home and unwrapped the plastic we realized it was more extensive than what was visible on the outside. I immediately called Seth back and left a message. He called back and he told me not to worry and if I found more damage I had 72 hours to let them know. This is where it all goes wrong. I did everything I was told and in total 8 boxes had broken ends and was noted in an email to Seth within 1 hour of delivery. This company will only replace 4 boxes (what was written on paperwork at time of delivery) and they made a claim with the shipper for concealed damage for the other 4 boxes. Once I began emailing Jade it was apparent they weren’t going to make it right. It should be noted that they expected me to unwrap all the plastic and move each 62 pound box myself before accepting these in the rain! Yes RAIN! My husband was on his way and it would have ruined all the boxes. I was told it could take 4 plus months for the claim to be approved or denied with the freight shipper and I may never receive those boxes if they deny claim, which is exactly what will happen. This should be on Seth and the company, as I was given wrong information. I was told to accept goods and promised I would get new boxes with no issues. Jade referred me to their long policy on freight shipping, that was somewhere on their website. I read their policy that was under the invoice in my email prior to delivery and it never mentioned concealed damage needing to be investigated with the shipper. She also told me no one would have ever told me to accept damage goods and she would talk to the sales rep and his manager but still nothing has been said about it. All I know is I paid a lot of money for broken flooring and it’s not my fault and this company won’t make it right!

GA Carpet and Seth Holbert Great to Work With

I had the good fortune of buying 2500 sq ft of Coretec LVP with the help of Seth Holbert from Georgia Carpet. Seth was great to work with - very responsive and helpful. I don't like making big purchases over the internet from companies I'm not familiar with. But I had complete trust in Seth, his honesty and integrity was apparent. The shipping company they used, RL Carriers, was also terrific moving the LVP from Dalton, GA to Michigan in a couple of days and about 2 weeks earlier than expected. Thank you Seth and GA carpet you get 10 stars from me and I will not hesitate working with you again and referring you both to friends up here in Michigan! JA

Fast paced for the consumer

Fast paced for the consumer. Excellent by far in getting the customers order processed and out the door. Steve Brownlee went above and beyond to walk me thru the process. His company deserves to know what a fabulous employee they have! The warehouse team for where it was stored til pick up also deserves accolades. The carpet was a perfect fit for my humble abode!
