Fast growing company with interesting influencers. Hands on people and could offer full service solutions. Could recommend if you want to scale with your company.

Barter has been a game-changer for my business. Since we started using the platform, our sales have grown significantly. It's opened up so many new opportunities and connections that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. On top of that, the customer support is always top-notch — whenever I have a question, I get quick and helpful responses. I truly feel supported and valued as a user. Highly recommended!

Failed cold outreach with conditional logic in full view

"Michelle M" sent me a total disaster of a cold outreach email from `@thebarterchannel.com`, which contained the incorrectly rendered conditional logic they use to spam people. An example needs to be made of people like this. This is what her email said:"Hello at Split An Atom - was checking out your marketing and strategy. We have more than 10,000 TikTok and Instagram creators who would gladly promote your marketing and strategy at no cost (they receive your product in return for content).I had a few creative ideas: % if UGC_Content_Ideas_Response != blank %"Marketing Mythbusters" - Creators debunk common marketing myths using fun visuals and Split An Atom's expertise."Client Pitch Simulation" - Creators role-play a mock presentation of a marketing strategy, showcasing Split An Atom's unique offerings."Behind-the-Scenes Agency Life" - Creators share a day in the life at Split An Atom, highlighting creativity and collaboration.% else %% endif %We’ve applied this method for 100+ boutiques, generating 100k+ new orders.Shall I send over a quick overview?Kind regards, Michelle Account Manager Barter www.getbarter․com"A total dumpster fire of a company, no wonder they need to do cold outreach. Not my first encounter with them either. They embarrassed themselves only a few days ago by sending cold outreach to another business of mine. Evidently they didn't learn anything and have gone backwards instead.

Fine experience with Barter.

Fine experience with Barter. Nice way for free food, experiences or stuff in exchange for content (which I create anyway) :)

This website is essentially a scam - DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE "FREE" TRIAL

I had signed up to the free 30 day trial on their website because I wanted to try to get UGC creators for my brand. I had see the monthly cost was relatively high and decided to try the free trial to see if we could find any creators who would be suitable and if we could find even one the monthly cost would have been fine. After posting a listing we had two applications. Both of these were from fake accounts who didn't actually have any real followers on their accounts. I can only assume that this company starts Instagram pages and pays for followers to fraud you into paying them money. After a few days I was trying to find out how to cancel the free trial and I couldn't find a way to cancel their services. I had then gave in with the platform as it was clearly a scam. Another couple of weeks past and they had removes £768 from my account. A full year of the subscription. I immediately emailed them to request this to be refunded and they were completely dismissive and said that they had sent a reminder email. THE REMINDER EMAIL WAS NOT IN ENGLISH, SO I ASSUMED IT WAS SPAM. They completely disregarded this and refused to provide a refund saying that the 30 day trial had ended. Floris, the customer service rep, then said that the trial had ended on the 11th of July which was the same day I had cancelled the subscription (by email because this is the only way you can cancel). Months on I still haven't received a refund for this and I still haven't had a single UGC creator apply, so it was a complete waste of money. I am now needing to contact my bank about this fraudulent payment and I will report them to trading standards. In short please do not get scammed by this company and do not sign up for the "free" trial because you will not be allowed to cancel it.

This company doesn't respect GDPR and doesn't even read emails when you tell them you aren't interes

Don't engage with this shady company! They are continuously cold-emailing me to sign up as a creator, despite repeated requests to be taken off their email list, and a "right to information" under GDPR. Emails mentioning this "right to information" are ignored, and the responses I get are STILL trying to get me to sign up after I already told them I AM NOT INTERESTED. If I could give zero stars, I would. And have your DPO respond to my GDPR request, for crying out loud.EDIT: company replies here claiming they take GDPR seriously, but told me over email that they added my email to their marketing doc (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION) because it was in my linktree. That is not "a process that went wrong". That is a process designed to flout the rules, while hoping you don't get caught. You may be able to explain away that first email as "reasonable interest assumed", but if I already invoked the "right to be forgotten" on JUNE 30 and you still continue to pester me on JULY 15 to JULY 18 (same emailer, btw! Hi Ann!), then your GDPR procedures are, quite frankly, shite. And congratulations: you landed on the marketer who knows GDPR and has now formally filed an inquiry with the GBA.FAFO.
