Review Time
Similar situation as others, gave me a return address in China in my caae., Rendering a return unaffordable.Lesson, deny crdit payment on an online order that hasn't arrived if it takes more than 10 days to arrive, there is a good chance this situation is in playI'll need to be more vigilant. Ordering from China can be a big gamble, now I know
I have been shopping online for years, and have had mostly positive results. Occasionally I have had to return or exchange an item and that has always worked out. For some reason, I didn't read any reviews before I ordered a pair of ankle boots for 46 euros from Gifthershoes and received a pair of very badly made shoes that were way too large. I got the same emails from the company that many other customers got. They won't give you the return address, but keep offering a discount instead. I finally gave up after they offered me a 20% refund. If you go to the website now, there is an error message, so they must be in hiding or open under a new name. It is partly my fault for not googling for reviews first, but nevertheless, this webshop is a rip-off.
I never received the product, the address label was incomplete, so the shoes were returned to gifthershoes. In the meantime, I found this website with reviews and, Wow!, I'm so glad I did. I reached out to Mastercard and they reversed the charge, thank you Mastercard and USAA. I've emailed the company and told them to keep the shoes... just recieved an email from them saying they received my shoes and wanted to verify my address so they could resend. "Ummm, no thanks!" They are relentless and will stop at nothing to steal your money. I think I wrote them 4 separate emails telling them to keep the shoes...even they don't want to keep their crappy shoes.
This company should be out of business, they would not refund my 1 pair of shoes after repeated emails to the company. They were always coming back with offering me a percentage back without returning shoes and I repeatedly said NO, I want my money back.Pinterest is where I found the shoes , I think I will send them a letter and complain as the gifthershoes is still on the Pinterest website.My complaint is the same as all the previous ones .They said in the beginning you have 14 days to return shoes but would never give me their address, finally after many requests they did and of course they would not pay for shipping but I found out to ship would have cost 80.00, ridiculous!
Wish I had checked here first! Shoes were too bog to size, and then I engaged in an endless email exchange with a bot (or was it a himan? same difference) to try to convince me to take %% back, then 10%, 15%, 20% back so that I would not send the shoes back. When I said no, I want to send the damn shoes back, they presented me with an onerous process without committing to refund, Customer be damned, all they care about is money. Keep your money folks!
i bought 2 pair of shoes from London and after 1 month came 2 pair of chinese shoes from china. I asked for the bill and they didn't send it. no return policy.ONLY WAY TO HAVE YOUR MONEY BACK IS TO OPEN A DISPUTE WITH MASTERCARD AND EXPLAIN THEM ALL THE SITUATION. IT MIGHT TAKE LONG BUT YOU WILL HAVE YOUR MONEY BACK
Thank you everyone for saving me the time and money. I was saving all of my money to purchase items from this company. I have been looking at their website almost every month now, planning for the Christmas holiday to give gifts and to buy new items for myself. Your reviews did not go unnoticed, and they are very helpful for others such as me. I wish that everything work out for you guys who have experienced so much badness from this company, it's very unfair that you had to experience that. Just remember how many other people you are saving from hardship, that's the reward and the reason for reviews. There has to be truth to the bad reviews out here. Look at how many there are from different people. If the company had any sense, integrity, or professionalism, they will address the problems out here.
I love the concept of the clothing, shoes, bags etc. BUT EVERYTHING FALLS APART the very 1st time you wear them, shoes ripped and fell apart on me while I was at work, dress poorly made, ripped up the side (I ordered 2 sizes to largeer). Please don’t waste your money shopping here, VERY VERY POOR QUALITY.
