We've just changed our broadband to Gigaclear and from our initial phone inquiry to our Internet being switched on at home,the Gigaclear team have been fantastic. I needed help today with the final part of our installation, it was so easy to contact someone by phone, and Sharon who I spoke to was professional and friendly and helped get us set up. Today I had a phone conversation with Meg in Gigaclear's Customer Loyalty Team. She was professional, friendly and efficient. As a result of our discussion, I decided to renew my contract for fast fibre broadband and home phone service.
Gigaclear put up their price by a large factor after my 18 month discounted period. Of course cheaper deals were only available for new customers. It also seems that fast broadband is only available in my area through Gigaclear who installed the fibre in the area. This seems to give them a monopoly. When I spoke to the customer loyalty department the chap was helpful and offered a modest discount and improvement in speed. He did a good job and I had little choice to accept what he offered.
