Review Time
What a great, inclusive and inspirational organization. I'm an uncle of lots of kids: trans, non-binary, girls, and boys. So grateful for an organization like this at a time when so many groups choose to attack, control, and belittle rather than embrace, uplift, and understand. It's difficult to get a good sense of an organization when everything goes smoothly, it's when things go haywire that a truly special group shines. In this case, Girls Inc. shined brighter than the sun. First, they are thriving in this day and age of anti-everyone. Secondly, they did everything right the first time. Thirdly, on my end things went whacko. Long story short, the team came to my families rescue with grace and speed without making me feel like a dummy. Class acts, all around. Plus, great quality tees to show the kiddos, in a small way, how proud I am to be their uncle. (The boys appreciate Girls Inc. too and got their tees long before I caught up. My siblings who are "old fashioned Christians and raised 'em right" so the boys aren't threatened by empowered people of other genders or races.) Thank you for bringing girls, kids, and families (not to mention my family specifically) closer together!Cheers!
I love the look of the shirt. It was shipped quickly and arrived in good condition.The fabric is thin and I am not sure about the sleeves, they look like they may be "short". I will not know until my son puts it on - it is a Father's Day gift. I can update perhaps after that.
Ordered a t-shirt over a week ago, no movement via the tracking number provided. If UPS is the preferred method for shipping they are not very efficient.I give it another week and then will ask for refund.**Update** shirt was delivered today. Upgraded review to 2 stars.
I purchased the Girl Dad shirt for my husband for Father's Day and he absolutely loved it! He wore it out to lunch and also recieved multiple compliments on it from other random people that loved it too. The shirt itself was true to size, arrived on time, and was of good quality. However, my favorite part of the shirt is how meaningul the definition given on it is. Kudos to Girls Inc of Central Alabama for giving all the great Girl Dad's out there credit for the important role they take in teaching their daughters to be strong, smart and capable women!
