Item arrived broken, I requested a replacement as was a mothers day gift was only offer £5 credit to my account as they said item was out of stock but my friend was able to purchase a box the same day so clearly they are still in stock. Shocking customer service. First time ordering
I am updating my review after being contacted by Liam from Glossybox Customer Services. He listened to my feedback and addressed my concerns, which I wasn't expecting - so was much appreciated. As said in my first review I cannot fault the contents of the box or the value for money, however the online account experience needs some work, it shouldn't be that hard to cancel your subscription, and receiving generic ai responses continuously isn't great. However, my concerns were eventually addressed so I can't complain. Please just address this issue with the online messaenger - I'm not the only one with this feedback!
I loved all the products and was looking forward to receiving it,however,my Byoma face cream was damaged the pump had broken and all I got off customer service team was they will credit me £3 I refused no replacement unless I post back the item but I can't as it leeks so now left with a product I can't use very disappointing and bad customer service team
I signed up and my payment was processed without any issues. However, a couple of hours later, I received an email stating that they couldn’t process the payment. I tried again, and this time the payment was confirmed and seemed fine. Yet, after a few more hours, I got another email saying the payment wasn't processed, despite having sufficient funds in my bank. Now, I’m receiving emails asking me to review my order, even though it has been cancelled twice!
Initially, the service was excellent with high-quality products. However, due to my financial situation, I've been trying to cancel my subscription, and it's been quite challenging. There are no straightforward cancellation options; instead, you must email and wait ten business days, often with no response on how to proceed. Now, I'm losing money I can't afford and facing debt because of inadequate customer support. If you're prepared to deal with the hassle of ineffective assistance when trying to cancel, then I hope you enjoy it.
I really appreciated the assortment of products every month, exploring new items I wouldn't have thought to try. Some are full sizes while others are samples. Each month brings something different, and I’ve been very satisfied with everything so far. I only canceled my subscription because I have a lot of items to get through first. I plan to resubscribe in the future. Definitely worth the investment!
The 12 month subscription was enjoyable until I reached the end and attempted to cancel it. It seems that due to auto-renewal, I’m now locked in until November 2026, which is ridiculous! I only agreed to a 12 month term; anything beyond that should convert to a monthly plan, not another full year! The support team has not been very helpful.
I signed up for a one-year subscription and completed it, but I wasn't very impressed with the products. I accepted it was a year-long commitment. However, they automatically renewed my subscription without my consent. Despite repeatedly informing them that I do not want another subscription, my request has been ignored. It's now January 3rd, and my subscription, which began on January 31, 2025, is still active. I never agreed to another payment! I plan to report this to my bank as fraud and notify the financial ombudsman. This feels like a scam!
Exercise extreme caution. ⛔️ THEY WILL TAKE MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT AND MAKE IT VERY CHALLENGING TO CANCEL. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I ordered the December box that was supposed to include a free additional box, which arrived 2 days ago. The advertisement was very misleading, claiming you could get the December box plus a free one for £9.99. The extra box contained clearly outdated products, including dried-out items. One was a talc spray (!). I made sure to select the one-month option instead of a subscription, yet they TOOK £13.50 from my account for January’s box yesterday. Cancelling through your account is impossible. Customer service doesn’t respond or provides vague answers that ignore your concerns. I will have to contact my bank to prevent any further unauthorized charges. I regret falling for the December box offer. I had canceled years ago due to receiving poor samples, and it seems nothing has changed! Very disappointed. AVOID!!
I received the beauty advent calendar two days ago as a gift from my son. When I took the box out of the outer packaging, it was immediately clear that the bottom drawer was missing. How could this be sent out incomplete? I'm incredibly disappointed; how can I explain to my son that the gift was not satisfactory? He has previously given me subscriptions and thought this would be a special treat, but it has turned out to be quite the opposite. This reflects poorly on quality control and customer service.
