I had ordered clothing from the U.S. and duly received a progress report from DHL Express outlining their delivery stages. Come the delivery day, the 2-hour delivery timeframe was exceeded by about 30 minutes, however, I did receive a text to apologise in advance. It was actually quite understandable due to the previous night’s severe storms creating traffic difficulties, so no complaints! They did deliver with a smile - thank you!
Despite a signature being required for this highly valuable package, it was dumped on the doorstep, the bell was rung but the driver had already left the property and no signature given. it could easily have been stolen from the doorstep. Luckily we were in - we were told that the delivery was to be Tuesday next week - that only changed this morning - so no reasonable notice given of the change. Poor service
