This warranty is an Internet scam .only difference is,they are masquerading it under a true British motoring organisations reputation.Don't do it.especially like I did .with the super £599 package.go to the cash point and draw out the money and set fire to it to keep warm.that way at least you have something for your money. They WILL NOT. Pay out for anything.even the things it states are covered.there is a clause..for a clause .and if they can't find one they will dig 15 layers deeper of clauses until they do.Yes.they cover electronic parts..unless it's anywhere near an exhaust...coil pack..yes ..as long as its a £3.99 one from primary. Air conditioning...yes..oh.unless there's a pipe involved.Labour cost..yes.if it's £5 PER HOUR IN MICKEY MOUSE GARAGE..list goes on .oh and tell porkies.saying they speak to the garage.tell you they did.state they will not pay based on that conversation.then emerges...they didn't.The fact trading standards don't sort these people out is a mystery.So.all in all go with Momentum. Warranty.no messing..friendly.straight into the franchise dealership.and all sorted out for you in your absence. I'm just bemused at 37 other 1 star reviews .that I can see .all recieve the same stock condescending answer .of how they take it seriously. One dating back 5 years. And how they will get better .No..really..get better .or refund my money.Just waiting my stupid reply now.
An absolute disgrace of a delivery service...my parcel was supposed to arrive last Friday,I'm still waiting for an email back after multiple emails to them.!!status of my parcel hasn't changed since Saturday and not one answer from this place..an absolute joke of a business, defooo WONT EVER use them again!!!
GLS seems to receive a lot of unfair bad reviews when its actually FAR BETTER than even the acclaimed Fedex/TNT that lately only give fob offs to their consignees and make us wait a lifetime for a reply AND take WEEKS to deliver to certain countries ( that is if the parcels don't disappear ) . The Limerick GLS manager Eamonn kelly goes beyond to assist his customer service team if necessary and that is a big plus and should be appreciated . Now, the down side is that the drivers can cause unnecessary issues if delivering at a time when the consignee is not in ; they may leave the parcel with a neighbor or safe areas around the address without leaving a note to communicate the action driving the consignee mad . Just a simple note ! That sure needs to change asap. Also, it would be great if their partner Parcel Force UK could up their game; their customer service is not good and their drivers also never leave a card/notification of attempt. It can be mind numbing if you are sending a parcel to the UK from IRE with GLS which will then be passed onto Parcel Force. Overall, GLS has proven to be a very good company ( during covid plandemic and all) and it has room for greatness . Hope my personal input is considered and helpful.
