GogglesNMore walks a person through ordering goggle inserts meant for skiing (and dirt bikes, airsoft...). The process is pretty streamlined and they have a large list of goggles matched with Type of insert (1, 2, 3 &4). We moved up from years of Type 1 to a Type 4, similar style but a bit bigger, now that my son is wearing full size goggles and not the tween/small adult size. He hates contacts and refuses to wear them, these are hands down the best option in his goggles, hard to ski race when your glasses are fogged up or you're not wearing them.
Bought one pair that worked great, but when my child needed a new prescription, the second pair was a letdown and leaked after a month and a half of competitive swimming. Customer service didn't help instead they let me know that my daughter who is the size of a kindergartner had too big of eyes and too big of head for the child size and needed to go up to a teenage size goggle. They also stated that this was because of her PD. It's funny without them knowing my child's medical condition they can tell me how her PD would affect how the glasses fit. When in reality she has from Strabismus which is why her PDs are different. they offered 25% off a new pair instead of a replacement. Not what I expected from a company that should stand by its products! By the way the pair we had bought prior don't leak and still fit her which discredits them saying the current goggles are too small😔 My child's a competitive swimmer So we are very familiar with goggles. Do better.
It was super easy to plug in the information for the prescription swim goggles! It was taking a good amount of time to get them shipped out so I called the customer service line. To my surprise they are 24hr service and they looked into what was going on. The goggles were shipped a day later and we got them quickly after that! Overall, it's a good value and they work great!
I bought a pair of optical inserts for my ski goggles. The rim was broken right out of the box and the lens fell out. Emailed them and only got radio silence. Called them (from Singapore) on their listed phone number and could not get through. I paid good money and got broken merchandise. The worse part was being ignored with no avenue for redress.
I found the ordering process to be very frustrating to the point that I was one more try away from giving up and looking elsewhere. My payment methods kept getting declined until finally I used an inactive card that was replaced months ago but still tied to my PayPal account and it actually went through. Prior to that, each time I tried a new payment method (multiple good standing Visa and Discover cards were attempted), I would have to fill in ALL the required fields again which are a lot (understandably). The entire process took well over an hour and my daughter chose the goggles she wanted within the first two minutes of being on the site so I thought it would go much faster. Hopefully the finished product is better than the order processing but I’m nervous now given my experience so far. I can say the customer service agent I spoke with at one point, while not able to solve my issue, was very kind and pleasant to interact with. She’s the reason for the 2nd star.
