never again going with motive. i told them to remove a truck last year which they said they did, but i was wrong they kept charging me all these months when i said i need a credit for all those months you guys charged me for it, they keep demanding payment instead of a apology and credit. so never again motive..

Great communication until the contract is signed.

Initially, the communication was excellent, but once the paperwork was completed, it became silent whenever I faced an issue. I struggled for three months just to log in and activate my device. After that, the device was incompatible with my vehicle, and when I attempted to cancel the service, I received no response. Now, my account has been handed over to a collection agency due to unpaid dues. I strongly advise against signing.

New Company, STAY AWAY

Starting new trucking company and found motie to be an ELD company that was recommended by a lot. Signed up for a contract, received my device and tried installing just to find out that the wrong device was sent to me. I was told someone would be in touch with me and have to call back over 5 times and still no help has been processed. They just tell you to allow some time and it will be resolved. Bad first impression. STAY AWAY!!!!!! Company does not care about you or your business.

This Company is a joke. Customer Service really sucks. They tell you that Teddy’s gonna call you in hours go by and nothing happens. You call back and they still say the same thing it’s ridiculous.

If you reduce your truck in the fleet…

If you reduce your truck in the fleet for any reason, they will still charge for all the trucks. Highly recommended DO NOT USE OR SIGN UP MOTIVE. In Samsara, they only charge for whatever you use. If the truck is parked for 1 month or more, they do not charge.But in MOTIVE, there is no such option. Once you sign up with MOTIVE or install their ELD in your trucks, you are done. Highly recommended Stay away from MOTIVE.

Stay away! software is good, but they have crafty renewal contract and procedure - one year contract expired, and they turned off all my trucks and demanded to sign contract quickly to continue business. I switched to another ELD may be half a year later, then got my account charged for what they say "two year contract I signed". I asked them to provide copy of a contract and they refused. Then disputed it with my bank but not sure how but may be they convinced my bank that contract on which they withdrew money from my account exists. So I am considering small claims to see if I can get my money back. They wait for non-payment or expiration of some kind then give you long small print stuff while holding your trucks hostage. If anyone considering class action, please google "jigounov" - I will be happy to join.

Wish it was possible to put 5 negative stars but since it still requires at least 1 positive star I'll have no choice with that being said, this is the worst company I've ever done business with. And I don't suggest anyone to do any business with them. The contractsAre ridiculous with the time frames and they do not give you an opportunity to early terminate with them. And you better not miss your chance to cancel because they do a automatic renewal.They know how to overdraft your account whether its with the card you gave them or some how they get the routing information for the bank.so even if do not you approve the withdrawal they'll get the money either way. The way this company operates, I don't understand how it's legal. STAY AWAY!!!

The interface is okay and ELD, thats it

The interface is okay. Customer support is a Joke. Was lied to during on boarding about the customer service we would receive and guaranteed it would be better than the provider we had just left. No all the same. Took almost a year to get 2 cables ordered in which i was charged for the ELD even though it could not be used. Just made another order with cables and requested the 3018-Y cables 7 of them and they sent me 2 different kind not even close to what I was needing. This is ever time I need something from them... A Joke. Only reason I give it 2 stars is its who we use for ELD and it works and the web interface is acceptable
