I am extremely disappointed to share this experience. The work was delivered with full dedication and professionalism, yet the agreed payments remain unpaid.
Despite multiple attempts to communicate, there has been no proper response or resolution. This has caused financial stress and damaged trust.
I sincerely hope the company takes responsibility, clears all outstanding wages, and resolves this matter in a fair and professional way. No one who works day and night deserves to be treated like this.
Fraud company. They took our payment for video editing services and never paid us. We are owed 4 months of payment, and they still haven’t cleared the dues. They are not replying to our messages and are completely ghosting us.
It’s a shame for a big company to behave like this. I never expected this from them.

I took out a 7 day trial which ended on the 3rd of February. On the 3rd I tried to cancel the trial to which turned out to be impossible! I phoned, emailed 3 times, tried the in-app chat... nothing! At 2.30om they then charged my account! So Halfway through the 7th day not even the end of a working day and conveniently no one to communicate with as to how to cancel the trial. Even if I did want to use the app, it doesn't fill me with confidence that you could communicate with anyone if you really needed to.Edit....thank you pie for contacting me and giving me a full refund with no hassle! Very much appreciated.
I am really having trouble with team really bad service and I paid for DIFM for me and wife for 2 years that’s 125x4 =500 going to drain no real advise no effort of correcting or missing info even after repeated attempts to correct now look like I have to pay late fees as well.Update: They have done all the calculation correctly but did on last day. But now overall happy that I dont had to pay late fees.
Awful unprofessional experienceThe 2 stars are because eventually, after 3 months, they technically provided a self-assessment return draft... but tha experience was horrible.I get that they were busy and all (maybe think about that before taking my money), but I explicitly told them that I didn't want them to wait until the very last week because I also have my job and personal situation; and I needed to review everything, provide any corrections and pull the money into the right account to pay.Everyone to their own and maybe trusting a random company to deliver 5 days before the deadline is good enough for you.... my levels of stress made me hire a popular UK alternative who cost me THE SAME and delivered BEFORE THEM, taking just 4 days for the entire process and communicating me warnings and questions effectively (the alternative company; not Pie, sorry)The app-ONLY experience is also not my cup of tea, in general, but even less when the app is not perfect and it lacks clarity on what services you already hired. It kept offering upgrades on top of the chat window, all the time, even when I was on the medium tier already.The "Date of experience" is when I got my draft; the documents were sent to them 3 months before and I never got any proactive updates (imagine 3 months chasing and fully trusting that you'll be saved on the last minute by someone that you don't know at all)Closing: I'm sure that they made an effort and had great intentions; the number on the draft made sense and surely just needed some checks on my part.... but I ended up paying to another provider and the experience is lightyears apart. I can't recommend this service.
Edit- following my original 2 star review, the team reached out & corrected the assessment. It’s still unclear what technical error caused the issue to begin with, but it’s all resolved & I managed to submit & pay my self assessment before the deadline.I can’t fault the follow up assistance, I hope that will be the default for all users in the future before they leave a poor review;)I was so excited for this app & it syncs with banking app which was really helpful. Sadly fell totally flat when my submission went through to HMRC as 0 & both parties are unable to amend or correct it. So, left having to submit a paper amendment after literally hours of on hold & ineffective customer support on both parties. Cannot recommend less.
Honestly a game changer. I’m rubbish with this side of running a business. Pie has made doing my tax return this year the easiest it’s ever been. So simple, so smooth. Easy to use app means I’ve submitted my tax return the earliest I’ve ever done it in Jan before! Yay! Thanks Pie! 😘
I knew I’d got it wrong when it said the tax office owed me money on my self assessment. I used the service where pie did my entire taxes for me and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. My workings out were wrong. Very wrong. I’m glad to have let Pie tax catch it before going into HMRC fine territory. Thank you to the team at Pie Tax. I’m going to stick with you just for peace of mind.
