The service has not posed any issues. My main concern is similar to what I experience with other energy providers. We've transitioned to a heat pump heating system and are currently using a specific tariff, but it has increased by 30% this year. In contrast, if I had an electric vehicle, I would be paying a third of the average cost for heating my home due to another government initiative. I believe that maintaining affordable heating for our homes is just as crucial, if not more so, than promoting electric vehicle transport. Moving forward, electric heating through heat pump technology should align more closely with gas prices. I recognize the complexities surrounding electricity supply and the significant differences in peak and off-peak rates, but we should still have access to economical home heating. Perhaps the specific tariff could cover the 0000-0600 timeframe at a lower rate, similar to the 13.5 rate during peak hours.
I contacted the company as a new customer needing guidance to secure the best tariff. I spoke with a representative who listened to my concerns, quickly grasped my needs, and clearly walked me through the process to achieve my goals. She was extremely patient as I struggled to read my meter for the necessary information and offered to send me an email so I could reply with images of my meter readings. In no time, I accomplished everything I aimed for. Thank you for the support!
Awful service; after joining the company, they have been unable to read my meter for weeks and can't clarify how they will calculate the time of use tariff I signed up for. They suggested I take weekly readings, which is ridiculous for a time of use tariff that needs 1/2 readings, and then they would divide the bill. This approach makes no sense, as weekly readings don't indicate off-peak usage. When I raised this issue, the responses were either to cut the call or claim they had already explained it. They've agreed to change my meter, but that's still a month away.
Transferring was easy. I encountered some issues setting up my export, but when I received a call from a representative, they were knowledgeable and friendly. They quickly understood the problem and resolved it in just five minutes. Great job!
I wanted to change my tariff but couldn't do it online. A representative understood my request and took care of it. They explained everything clearly and even apologized for their colleague's lack of follow-up from two weeks ago.
