Disappointing experience with the service. They only accept a full year HMRC tax return, which is frustrating. I work for a company based in another country and earn significantly above the minimum required for the flat, yet they couldn't verify my income through any other means. They mentioned they could if my employer had a local presence - which is baffling. This service seems to unfairly disadvantage foreigners because of their strict requirements. I arrived on a family visa and don’t need to work for a local firm. Having hired many people, I know there are numerous ways to verify income. Ultimately, the landlord retracted their offer after I had paid my deposit due to supposed "changed circumstances". I found another referral agency for my current flat, which costs £600 more than the one I sought through this service and was approved in under 12 hours. If they utilize the same referencing service, I wouldn't recommend investing any time.
The team at goodlord is lovely! My problem is with the AI chatbot that is forced on the user. What could have been a simple form is a slow chat process with an AI. Putting in my basic information took waaay too long than it should have. AI chatbots don't need to be shoehorned EVERYWHERE. I hate this user experience.Edit: I just took away one more star. The AI crashed in the middle of our 'conversation'. It didn't save the details I gave it, and I had to re-do the painful process.

Danny was excellent at making sure I understood what he was saying and was patient with myself and my partner as we discussed our options, as well as being happy to repeat our options to us. He was friendly, relatable and very cheerful. It felt as though I was talking to a friend throughout the entire phone call.
