Review Time
Advertised a Case for my new Samsung Z Flip 7, and received a case with 2 pcs? With top piece nothing but a flimsy plastic frame - that provided no protection other but the outer edge of the upper 2 screens, leaving the outer screen without any protection at all? Yet in the back of the lower portion of the case, there appeared to be a plexiglass piece built in, that protected the "back?" of the lower section of the phone?! On top of everything else, the top flimsy "edge cover" popped off of the phone, every time you opened and closed the flip phone? Customer service agreed by text that the phone cover made no sense at all? But refused to take the cover back due to no return policy. And when I asked him if I could use the $44.99 that I paid for the defective phone case towards anything else they sold, other than another phone case (which I had already found in the meantime through another importer - for $29.99 - that was a perfect fit & protected the hinge, outer screen and was one piece) - customer service went silent?! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM GORILLA PHONE CASES!
I'd give them zero stars if I could. They take way too long to send items. They do not follow up, I've been waiting for a reply for two weeks now. They don't answer chats or emails. They waited two weeks to ship my item and when I got it a week and a half later it wasn't even the correct case I ordered let alone a case that was made for my phone, it was for a complete different brand. Please please don't waste your money with them, do not order from them.
I ordered a phone case from this company, believing that it was well- designed and well-suited for my needs. I should've trusted my instincts, however, as their customer service left a great deal to be desired (emails and "chats" were completely ignored, and their phone number leads to an automated message that doesn't show for messages or speaking to anyone). The case arrived, I put it on my phone, and realized immediately that it was poorly designed and not well-suited for my needs. It was on my phone for all of 5 minutes (and a good part of that time was just me removing and reinstalling the case screws). I repackaged the case and emailed a request for a refund. They didn't respond. I emailed again. They responded with nothing but a link to their website refund policy page, which states that they don't issue refunds due to "hygiene" concerns with "used" products. I responded with a screenshot of their website's shopping page that clearly states "Satisfied or Refunded... we do our best to work with customers." They again responded with a nothing but a link to their website refund policy page. The only time I actually got an original, human response from the company was when I threatened to pursue a charge-back from my bank. They advised that they would fight it and win.
